Kieran was just wandering around the mall, with some of his guyfriends, when he decided that he was exhausted and needed to sit down. He didn't really know where he was going, but he knew that it was going to be a sitting place, probably a bench. Seeing as he was on the top floor, he took his seat on the see through floor area, so he could look down all the way to the bottom floor, where the little stream looked way too small to be real. The stream looked as though it was painted on. Thankfully, there was see through glass in the same spot on each level, so they could see all the way down. Kieran saw people walking around, and a few looked up and waved. There were a few cute guys smiling up at him, he knew them from around town that they too were gay. He didn't stare at them for too long, girls who he presumed would be cute were walking by, so he had to stare at them to be sure that his cover wouldn't be blown.
Kieran sighed. He was tired of pretending to be straight, but he knew that it was the only way he wouldn't be mocked by all of his friends. Not even his closest friends knew that he was gay, only his mother did, but his mother was dead, due to a freak accident. He knew he had a sister, but she was lost to the world, due to a parental mistake of tearing them apart. Kie wanted to meet his sister, he just knew it was improbable that he ever would, due to his parents mistakes. He decided to sit back straight, and pull his headphones into his ears, and ignore the world. When he did, he was listening to Ke$ha. He leaned back, and remembered his Ipod was on shuffle. He hit the next button, and Eric Dill, a great singer, who was just as cute as how well he could sing, came on. He mouthed the lyrics, and stood up to walk into a random store that was nearby, and he ran into someone.

Ah. Shopping and men, two of her favorite things. And what a fine day for both things it was! And even if it wasn't... they were inside so it didn't matter too much. She had at least two bags in either hand, and had lost a bit of focus as a well built guy walked past her. The well dressed blond turned her head. That was probably how it happened. How she ran into someone. She dropped her bags, stumbling back slightly barley able to keep her balance. Stupid people and how the never watched where they were going, she hated them honestly, though allot of times she would put on a sickeningly sweet attitude. "Hey... watch it!" She said, looking up at who she had run into. It was some scene kid, with bleach blond hair cut in a normal fashion for their style. She looked him over quickly... There was just something about him. Something oddly familiar, though she couldn't quite place it. She shook it off though, blue eyes going back to glaring as she bent down to pick up her bags. " You really should be more careful." She forced herself to calm down slightly. Really she wanted to knock the guy over the head for not paying attention, but no need to cause a scene. She would just now move on and unruffle her feathers.

Kieran accidentally had run into a very (what he thought) would have been a very pretty girl. Her hair was blond and curly, and went to about her shoulders, and her eyes were almond shaped, and were the brightest of a blue.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to run into you." he said, trying to look flirty. He wanted everyone to think he was straight, so this is how he would do it. He didn't really expect her to flirt back, he just hoped that she would go and tell her friends. "I'm sorry. Really, I wasn't paying attention."
This was the first time that he really looked at her face, and he noticed how she looked familiar. She almost looked as though she was related to him, if he hadn't died his hair platinum blond. Her eyes were the same color as his, and her hair color was the same as his natural color. "I'm Kieran Avery." He introduced himself, even though she was being rude.

She raised his eyebrow at him. Was he attempting to flirt? " Whatever." She muttered, about to turn and walk away. She didn't have time to waste this idiot. There were ore Clothes to buy. More accessories to purchase. Shoes! There was way more shopping to do than to waste another moment on this scene kid. It was then he said his name and she stopped in her tracks. Wel lthis was something.
" I'm Kieran Avery." She turned her head ever so lightly, looking at him with deep blue eyes. " Thats odd." She said " Because I'm Faina Avery." This had to be a coincidence right? It just had to be.
" You have a twin brother...Keiran."
She remembered her father's words. Same first name as her supposed twin, same last name as hers. If it was a coincidence, then it was quite a big one. Quite a word one too. She turned around fully now, blue eyes studying him for a moment. His facial features were similar, eyes the same... " Were you ever told you had a twin sister? She was curious now, a tilt of her head indicated this.

"Was I ever told I had a twin sister, and her name being Faina." He said questioningly trying to desperately claw the memory of his mother away from him. He didn't want to remember that he did in fact have a sister, but this girl was not how he imagined his sister at all. He imagined her being sweeter, and politer. But she was as pretty as her mother had described her.
"I suppose I might've." He said, trying to brush this off. He didn't want to believe that this was his sister, not one bit. "Is your mother an angel, and your father a demon? Do you still live with them?" He asked. He wanted to know for sure that this girl was his sister before he went off with her. He knew that both his parents were dead, and he knew that his mother was in fact, an angel, the opposite with his father. It didn't make sense, because Kieran was a nice demon, but oh well, some things just don't ever make sense.
"I don't get this." He knew he recognised this girl. She obviously had either bumped into him before, or they were actually twins. He knew a few ways to test it out, but wanted to be sure of a few things first, due to his major skepticality.

This was really getting odd. This guy couldn't be her brother! He was too dorky.. too goofy, to be her father's son! It just couldn't be. " Yes, my father was a demon, my mother an angel like I am." This couldn't be right! It just couldn't be. It couldn't be possible! She couldn't be related to this goof!
But so far everything fit.
This was not happening. He brother was supposed to be tall, tanned, with golden blond hair like her. Just as smart as her, just as cunning, he was supposed to be the demonic one after all! He couldn't be this bleach blonde skinny goofy freak. She crossed her arms, a slight glare crossing her features as she studied him.
" You aren't him, you cant be him." She said rather bluntly, no he couldn't be " you're way to nice for a demon." So it couldn't be. if he was a demon he'd be just as bad as her. She refused to believe it unless there was actualy proof. Cold, stone hard, solid as a rock proof. She wouldn't believe it until then.

"Here's a way we can test the theory." He said, unsure of what his mind was telling him to do. Apparently, something drastic. But this just didn't seem to fit. This girl was supposed to be angellicly sweet, somone he could relate to. She was supposed to be thin and lanky like he was. That's how his mother always described her! He pushed his hand into the pocket of his skinny jeans, and pulled out a pocket knife, whose blade was freshly sharpened. He liked to throw them, and get them stuck in places. "Either you cut your hand, or I cut mine. If we're twins, the one who doesn't cut will feel the pain." Kie didn't want to cut his palm, so he hoped this Faina would step up to the plate.
"You wanna do it, or shall I?" He pulled on a serious face. He wondered if she would or not. From the way that his mother had described her, she would jump at her own shadow if she moved and saw it but wasn't paying attention. This girl on the other hand didn't seem that jittery. Much unlike Kie, who would jump at someone moving around the same corner as he did, coming from the opposite direction. This girl just can't possibly be my sister! But if she is, I wanna go boy watching with her. I'll bet she'll pick out cuties! He thought silently to himself, wondering what type of guy she liked. Probably the preppy type, with nice tans. He didn't really like that type. Emo guys were more his.

It sounded like he was talking abut doing something drastic. And as he pulled out a knife, her supiciouns were correct. " you really think Imma cut myself with that?" she raised an eyebrow at the boy. he must be crazy! Probably was...thinking they're related. That really was crazy talk.
" I don't see how this will prove anything." She muttered, looking him over. " It seems you don't believe this either, so why don't we both not believe it and continue on our separate lives?" That sounded like a decent plan. Just forget they ever met each other and go about their day as normal. They didn't need each other. Atleast.. she didn't need him. She could live just as happily pretending she didn't have a dork for a brother than putting up with him. There was just something way to odd about him. Maybe it was the fact they realy were realted.... " no we're not " she told her self again. They weren't related, they weren't! They couldn't be. It wasn't possible.
" This is so stupid." She stated, turning around about to walk off.

Kie saw the girl about ready to walk off. In a snap, he remembered her name. "Faina!" He yelled out, flipping the knife open. He was expecting her to turn back around to face him, and then he sliced his hand open, and felt the first few droplets of blood fall from it, and the instant stinging sensation. "Do you feel that?" He only murmured that, his mood instantly changing from bubbly to fiery. He knew this girl was his sister, and he wanted to prove it.
How can she not feel the sting! It's practically eating my hand alive. It hurts really bad. That fiery sensation that he had earlier, just moments ago, replaced with fear. He felt as though he had sliced the top half of his hand off, it hurt terribly. "You better feel this!" His murmuring grew shrill, and his eyes began to tear up, he looked to his hand, and began to feel trickles of tears down his cheeks. The hand was covered in red blood, a sickly smell of iron lashing the air. He took the knife, which was caked in already drying blood, and sliced lighter this time, on the other side of his hand, a small stream of blood now appearing on that side too.
If its possible, this'll show it. He thought.

She heard him call out her name, but she just kept on walking. She didn't want to listen to anymore of this crap that they were twins or in any way related. it just wasn't true.
It was then a searing pain hit her hand " Fuck!" She let out a swear. She turned to look t him just when another pain hit. Well what do you know!? " Stop that!" The blond female spun around, storming over to him and taking the knife from him. He looked like he was about to cry.. stupid little wimp.
By now people were looking at them, they had attracted a good deal of attention. A guy purposely cutting his own hand while the girl walked away. It didn't make for a good impression on people, and caused them to stare, which Faina definatley did not want. It was time to take this conversation outside. She grabbed the boys arm with the hand of hers that wasn't hurting and proceeded to try and drag him outside to the back of the mall. allot less people around here. She grabbed his hand, comparing it too hers. Where his was bleeding and where hers hit.
" It cant be." She let go of his arm, giving him a small shove towards the wall. She held up the knife " This. Doesn't mean a thing!" She then promptly threw it to the ground. " I think we should just take my suggestion and go on pretending the other doesn't exist!"

"But that would be taking the chicken way out, Faina Rose Avery." One other thing that his mother had told him before she died: Faina's middle name. He was positive that Faina knew his middle name too, but he couldn't be sure with the stories of their father. He saw her compare their hands, his bleeding, hers with a bright red streak down the middle that looked like a very young scar. It all just made so much sense.
He also was beginning to piece together why he went with their mother, and she with their father. Their father was evil, completely cruel, and doesn't care about anyone. Their mother, the exact opposite. Kie felt his eyes well up again, but he choked back the tears that were fighting to roll down his cheeks. There were huge garbage cans all around them, smelling of large pretzels and nacho chips. "And there's one thing I'm sure our parents taught us. To not take the chicken's way out, and to fight for what you believed, as evil as it could be." His mind had taken a drastic change in mood. He didn't know why, but he was beginning to guess, that he was feeling this anger pulse through his veins was Faina's feelings right now. He had half a mind to lash out at her, but decided against it, and again tried to speak quietly, and calmly. "We should figure shit out before we just drop each other like ex-boyfriends."
Kie knew, just knew, that Faina was his sister, so he didn't mind that she knew he was gay. And if he made a drastic mistake, which he doubted, then so what? He was going to be coming out of the closet sooner or later, he just figured hey, it'd probably end up being sooner anyway.
"If I'm wrong, then hell, you can tell everyone I'm gay. If I'm right, then I'm pleased to meet you, Faina Avery." He hoped she would still freak about his knowing her middle name, if it was. There were so many things unanswered.

"But that would be taking the chicken way out, Faina Rose Avery."
She winced at the sound of her middle name, raising her palm and slapping him across the face. Maybe it'd knock some sense into this idiot. She winced though as she felt a sting on her own cheek " Stop that! I'm not your sister so stop trying to convince me that I am!" Blue eyes stared into his. " Its not the cowards way out cause it aint true!" A bit of a snarl crossed her face, as she crossed her arms, still in quite obviously in denial " So I'd rather drop it, got that!?.
"If I'm wrong, then hell, you can tell everyone I'm gay. If I'm right, then I'm pleased to meet you, Faina Avery."
She glared at him, he probably just told her one of his deeper secrets, she shoved him again, slightly harder " Just stop it ok!" She said " This al just one big coincidence! I'm not your sister, you aren't my brother. I don't know how you know my middle name, and i really don't care as long as we drop it!"

"You wouldn't freak out this much if you didn't know it was true, Faina! Seriously, don't deny it." Through his anger that he figured Faina was channeling him, fangs replaced his old teeth. He glared at her, even after she hit him. He raised his hand, and replaced his fangs with long nails on his fingertips. He slapped her back, the claws scraping against her face. He hoped he had cut her badly enough that he himself would bleed, maybe then she would believe.
"Now remember, I am a demon. I don't care what you are, angel, sister...Faina." He glared at her, and hoped he would feel his cheek bleed, he hoped he would feel a small stream of heat go down his cheek, at any second. He didn't know what would happen. The scents of the garbage was making him dizzy.

" I'll deny it as much as I want because its not true!" She yelled. His teeth sharpened, as did his nails. It was then he rose a hand and struck her across the face. Blood dripped down her face. She turned her head back at him, looking shocked for a moment. " You... She blinked a few times " you did not just hit me!'" She raised her hand about to slap him again when she saw marks suddenly appear on his face as well. She gritted her teeth, her hand falling back to her side.
So maybe it was true.
She continue to glare at him a second more, the scratches on her face starting to heal, much like the ones on her hand. His was still there though, and she didn't remember her father having the healing ability she did. She put a hand to his face, his wound hopefully healed, and hers came back to full force, it woasnt much of a problem though.. he healing ability would take care of those again as well.
she then jerked her hand back. This was what she had been afraid of upon accepting the fact.. that she would actually start caring. She had no reason to care about anyone. .the only person was her father and he was dead Her caring would just slow her down.
" I cant do this."
She turned around, about to walk off for what had to be the third time today.

"Going to walk away, again, Faina?" He knew that his scratches weren't going to heal, and that he had probably scarred his pretty little face. It didn't matter, he just wanted to know that he finally had a sister, something he had wanted ever since he could remember.
"It's not the smartest of an idea. I felt that you cared." Kie didn't know where this major serious streak was coming from. Normally, he was a bubbly guy, who loved to watch boys. He was who he was, and he loved who he was. "Why avoid it? Why don't you want to admit that you have me as your brother?" He asked her, tears billowing in his eyes. Maybe she would feel the sadness, and have tears billow in her eyes as well, he wanted her to feel everything that she does.
His face was still bleeding, and so was his palm. It was stinging; badly. "Help me, please?" He lifted up his palm so that it was level with her eyes, showing his bleeding hand off. He felt as though he had lost all of his blood. He didn't know if these feelings were truly his, or if they were hers anymore.
