Isabeau was nearly giddy as she stepped out of her bedroom. All showered and blonde hair pulled into a loose ponytail, she was ready for the day ahead of her. She had slipped into a comfortable, worn pair of jeans, and equally loved pair of flip-flops and a pink cami to top off her summer-time look. The day already looked promising with the sun shining and only a few clouds here and there; it was a pleasant escape from the rain and biting chill that seemed to have settled over the city. How she would spend the day, however, didn't come to her until she was in the shower, and the idea that had surfaced was the reason for the excitement that undulated down her entire being. What better way to spend a warm, sunny day than at a park, eating ice cream? But she couldn't go alone and it was hard to keep the smile from her face as she walked down the halls of her home, in search of the perfect, little person who would surely top off the excellent, no, perfect day that stretched before her.
Where Rayne was, though, she didn't know. Being that she was young, no more than five, at least, Isabeau knew that she wouldn't be anywhere outside without her father. Their father? She knew that Rayne's family was no more and Remy had saved her from dying, but it still felt odd to think of Rayne as part of their small family. Odd, but wonderful all at the same time. No ill feelings were ever shot toward Rayne, as she didn't feel threatened that someone was stealing Remy from her; Rayne needed Remy, and she knew that. While it didn't surprise her that she was so kind toward Rayne, as she had a motherly soft spot for any and all children, it did surprise her a tad how much she cared for the little angel. She never expected to be so completely wrapped around her finger, and yet she was. It was a marvelous feeling, one that she wouldn't trade even the world for.
Isabeau's steps slowed as she came upon Rayne's room, an uncontrollable bounce in each step. Finding the door closed, the angel pressed her ear to the door and smiled softly as she heard rustling about inside; she raised a hand and gently rapped on the closed door. "Raynie?" The name was almost a song on her lips as she knocked once more. "May I come in?"

Rayne had slept quite well. She had woken up in her new room, which was plastered in baby blues. There were sheer white curtains covering her bed, and enclosing around her. She sat up, and stretched her little arms, her bright pink nightie's short sleeve's rolling up toward her shoulders. She then crawled through the curtain, and pulled herself to her toybox. Taking out a barbie doll, and a small plastic horse, she pretended that her barbie was a cowgirl.
"Cmon horsie, lets go run!" She said in a high voice, and then tilted her horse back and forth with the barbie doll on its plastic saddle. The barbie fell off when she tipped it back a bit to far. She picked up the barbie, and out of anger, threw it against a wall. She then picked up a different barbie doll, this one with dark brown curly hair. She then began to "trot" the horse across her room. once she got to her curly blue carpet, that was at the side of her bed, she pretended it was water. She "drowned" the horse and the barbie, just for the sake of playing a game. After playing out them drowning, she got bored, and she left them on the floor where they had "drowned". She stood up, and walked over to her toybox, and pulled out a rubix cube. She began to tear of the stickers, having a grand old time.
Rayne heard a knock on the door. She looked up and then heard Issy ask to come in. She dropped her rubix cube and ran over to the door, where she pried it open, wrecking the cloud design that had been painted all on that wall, door included. She looked up at her big sister who was all ready to go somewhere.
"Where ya goin', sissy?" She asked, looking truly intrigued at her sisters blond appearance. She didn't know why, but she looked different from her sister. She didn't know that her sister, Issy, wasn't actually related, or that Remy wasn't actually her father. She saw her sister's flip flops sparkle. She knelt down, and rubbed her finger against the thong strap. She felt the rough glitter under the plastic. Standing up again, she looked up into her sister's eyes.
"Can I come?" She asked, a little puppy pout smile on her face.

Isabeau looked down as the door slowly opened a peek before curious, little round eyes blinked at her from behind the door. Her smile widened as Rayne poked her head out further. The small angel's voice was like music to her ears as she questioned where she was going; it was sweet and soft, like small bells on the wind. Sissy. Again, she was reminded yet again at how odd it was to have Rayne in her life. She remembered having a little sister centuries ago, but her sister was no more than an infant and they never really had a chance to get to know one another. Having Rayne was almost like having a second chance, and she rather liked the feeling of having such a bond even if they weren't blood related. "I am going somewhere secret!" Issy mewed back softly, watching curiously as Rayne bent over and lightly played with her flip-flop before righting herself and looking back to Issy. The look that washed over Rayne's face as she asked if she could come was heart-wrenching, in a good way. Isabeau could have melted, and even if she wasn't already bringing Rayne, that face alone would have changed her mind in a heart beat.
"Well, I don't know, Raynie. That depends!" Not able to help herself any further, Isabeau bent over and scooped the small girl up into her arms. Placing the girl on her hips, she cradled Rayne to her with one arm. With her free hand, she reached over and gently brushed a few brown locks away from Rayne's round, baby-like face. "Can you keep a secret? 'Cause where I am going.. no one can know. This will have to be just between you and me, so if I tell you, you can't tell anyone." Isabeau smiled softly, her blue eyes sparkling with her obvious excitement.

Rayne nodded gleefully as Issy bent down to whisper a secret to her. Oh, she wanted to know, she wanted to know. And she wanted to go with Issy so bad! Rayne had been picked up, and was being cradled against Issy's side. Perfect bouncing position. She started bouncing her body out of the sheer excitement that Issy was giving her. She continued to bounce as Issy leaned in even closer. Her eyes widened and then she looked at her sissy.
"Oh just sayyy itt!" She whined, the excitement making her antsy. Oh, how easy it was to make a little girl so happy, so exuberant.... It was almost way too easy. Issy was obviously having an easy time with it, with the way Rayne was bouncing up and down. "Issy, Issy, Issy!!" She whined again. She really wanted to know. It wasn't every day that a secret got entrusted into Rayne, she was getting more excited as each second passed. She quietly played with Issy's curls that were pulled back into a loose hanging ponytail, and smiled, her two front teeth showing with the large gap in between them. "Issy! Stop being mean to me!" Rayne felt as though she had been waiting weeks for a birthday, she was bursting with the need to hear the secret place.
With her worrying about the secret place, Rayne began to squirm. She a) Wanted down and b) Wanted to know. She mainly wanted down so she could go get dressed up into her nice outside clothes: A cute yellow dress with little roses on the bottom hem, and a cute pair of flowery white sandals. She would apply her little girl makeup and lipgloss, and she would be very prettied up for Issy... maybe then Issy would take her, and tell her. Maybe then.

Issy giggled delightfully as Rayne began bouncing in her arms and calling her name in time with her bounces. It was more than a little obvious that the little angel wanted to know what the secret was, but Issy was having way too much fun to spoil the surprise just yet. "Raynie, Raynie, Raynie!" She whined, laughter rolling between each call of Rayne's name; and adding to the effect she shook her head just as Rayne reached back to play with her hair, sending blonde curls left and right. Her smile widened when Rayne accused her of being mean and she couldn't help as she giggled lightly.
"Oh, Raynie, I'm not being mean. I am sorry." Rayne only seemed to squirm more, and Issy knew that the little one wanted down. She gently bent over and slid Rayne from her hip, holding onto the small angel until she knew that Rayne's feet touched the ground. "I guess I can tell you..." Issy winked at Raynie before standing straight again, a dramatic sigh slipping from her lips as her hands rested on her hips. "I was thinking of going to the park and getting an ice cream, but I don't want to go alone." Isabeau shrugged her shoulders softly as she glanced at Rayne, her blue eyes sparkling with warmth. "Wanna keep me company?" The blonde angel's eyes fell over Rayne, and before the little angel could answer the question Issy held out her hand as she took a step toward the little one's room. Raynie was stilled dressed in her pajamas, and as darling as the sight was it wouldn't do. "C'mon. Let's go get you dressed so we can leave! Do you know what you want to wear, or do you want me to help you pick something out?"
