It was today that Remy had promised to take Rayne to the park. And even though she wasn't his actual daughter, he treated her as if she were. Years back, when he still had a wife and two other children, he'd been taking care of his newborn daughter. Before she could even get started with much of her life though, the hunters took away her future. The loss of his family was the entire reason why he hated hunters, and he'd never ease up on them until they were gone for good. Sure, that'd be hard considering that they were humans, and humans made up the majority of the population, but it didn't mean Remy would give up on it. He wanted to destroy the hunters, and show that people like them, were completely useless. That being said, he knew he could never go around to places without carrying some form of weapon. Hunters liked to use their little toys, and he knew they'd always be after him. It was because of this, that Remy was forcing himself to bring a gun with him. He hated to do so with Rayne around, but he'd do anything to keep her safe. Hopefully, he wouldn't have to resort it, and he'd use it as his very last option.
For now though, he wasn't even thinking about the hunters or anything related to them. He just wanted to take Rayne out to the park, and spend some time with her. Not too long ago, he'd told her that she could get ready to head out, and even bring some things with her if she'd like. Then she could come from her room when she was ready, and he'd take her out. Now of course, Remy had his wings, and Rayne didn't. He could easily take her in his arms and fly with her, but that wasn't exactly the most efficient way. Seeing an angel in the sky would be something that drew people's attention, including the attention of any possible hunters. He didn't want that, so he had decided that driving there was his best option. Just about everyone drove, and he could easily blend in if anyone were to spot him.
Going back to the hunters again for a moment, if they dared to attack while Remy had a child with him, he'd first use his abilities to try and avoid having the gun. If that failed, he could easily send a message to some of the angels who followed him, and have them help out. Usually, Remy would've fought back himself, but again, having a child with you changed everything.

Rayne was asleep when her father, Remy got up to work. Her dreams were full of playing at the playground, meeting famous Disney characters, and ice cream. She was almost too excited to sleep, but somehow, earlier that night, she had fallen into a deep sleep. But, the sleep wasn't going to last much longer than this. She pried her little eyes open, and sat up. She pushed her heavy blankets off from her, and tore out of the little sheer curtain that covered her bed. Sighing, she walked over to her closet, where all her clothes were.
The paint on her walls that was made to look like clouds was temporarily destroyed as she slid open her closet doors, to look for something to wear. Today was the day that her father had promised to take her to the park! She was so excited, she could barely hold it in. "What to wear, what to wear..." Her little voice said, ringing like bells. She had a sweet voice, just like an angel. What she didn't have was wings, and she was insanely jealous of her sister, Issy for having them. She looked up in her closet, and found a cute little dress, with hearts all over it. She pulled it off the hanger, and took off her nightie, and slipped it on. She ran over to her little mirror, and looked at herself. She smiled. Perfect. Then, she slid her closet doors back closed, rejoining the clouds.
After Rayne had finished closing her closet doors, which was hard for someone who was as short as she, she ran to her bedroom door, and pulled it open, and busted out of her room, forgetting to close the door behind her. "Daddy! Daddy! Where are you, Daddy!" She yelled out, running down the hallway, looking for him. As excited as she was, it was amazing that she didn't pee her pants!

Remy heard the sound of feet running his way, followed by the sound of Rayne's voice. He smiled when he saw her, and when she reached him, he scooped her up in his arms and gently held her. "How's my little angel?" He asked, the smile still on his face. And when he said angel, he quite literally meant it. So many people used the term, but he could actually put meaning behind it when it came to Rayne or Issy. After giving her a quick hug, he held her in one arm while letting her rest on his hip. He loved kids, even if they were a species he didn't like. Demons or vampires for example, he'd still love a child from one of those species, just as much as he would with any other.
Form there, he began heading towards the door before walking out and towards the car. Once he got there, he opened the back door and allowed Rayne to climb in. It may have been odd for someone like him to have a booster seat in the car, but again, he loved Rayne, and he wanted to keep her safe. Even though she was an angel, it didn't mean she wouldn't get harmed in the case of an accident of some sort. Remy was used to taking care of kids though, since he raised two of his own to their adult years.
"Any plans for the park today?" Remy asked. If she wanted to play on the swings or on the slides, he'd be happy to allow her to. He'd dedicated today for her, and he hoped that there wouldn't be any sort of business that required his immediate attention. Again, he wanted to focus his day on Rayne today, and he knew it would help him take his mind off of things. After hundreds of years of dealing with war and violence, it took its tole, and Remy needed to focus on other things from time to time.

Rayne had been picked up and swung over Remy's hip. Adjusting herself so that she could wrap her legs around his side, she let him hug her. Then, he carried her out to the car, and opened up the door and let her climb into the booster seat. "First the slide. Then the teeter totter, then the swings!" She giggled, allowing herself to be strapped in. On the inside, Rayne was pouting for not being able to fly. She was about ready to pout out loud.
"Daddy, why can't we fly there?" She asked sweetly, her voice that was as sweet as bells ringing out. She looked up at him, her deep brown eyes in wonder. She looked down at her little dress with all the flowers on it, and flattened it out. She wanted to look perfect. Then she remembered that she had stashed a comb in the seat beside her, in case she forgot to brush her hair, which, she did. She leaned over and pulled it out, then began to brush her little snarls.
"Cause flying's fun!" she giggled, smiling up at Remy. She continued to comb the little snarls out of her hair, and once she finished, she shoved the comb in the pocket on the back of the seat that was in front of her. She was officially ready to go. She was going to have so much fun, she just knew it!

"Sounds like you've got a plan worked out." Remy said to her. He adored the playfulness that children had, and it made him smile every time. It disgusted him to think that people would ever try to harm them, but he knew there were people out there like that. It was a sad fact, and if Remy were to come across such a person, he'd take their life the very moment he had the chance. They didn't deserve to live, and as a protector as well as a father, he'd do whatever it took to keep them away from kids.
As Rayne asked why they couldn't fly there, Remy had a simple answer. "It isn't the best time for it, princess." He said to her. "But if you want to fly, I can take you later today." For that, he could just go somewhere in which he knew hunters wouldn't be. There were a few around the city, and if Rayne agreed, they could leave the park a bit early so he could fly with her, and get home before too long. He loved having her around, but when he first started taking care of her, he couldn't help but think back to the days where he had his own family. Whenever that came up, he always pushed away the negative memories, and tried to focus on the positive ones.
Now he'd adjusted to it though, and once Rayne was in her seat, he shut the door and got in the car himself. Then he pulled away from the sanctuary, and began heading for the park. It wasn't all that much of a drive, but walking wise, it was a bit far for a child. "Did you have fun with Issy at the ice cream store?" He knew his eldest daughter had taken her out recently, and he was happy to see that Issy wasn't all too upset about Rayne.

"Fun with Issy?" Rayne was confused for a moment, her trip with Issy to the ice cream store had completely slipped from her mind, but in moments, the memory returned. "Oh yeah, I had lotsa fun! Me n' sissy got hugemongus icey cream comnes!" Rayne was speaking with a little girl lisp as she said ice cream cones, so it came out sounding different.
She watched Remy click on the car, and she giggled, and clapped her small palms together. She was excited to finally be on the move! Daddy promised to take me flying! YAY! I can't wait until I'm old enough to fly myself! Rayne's thoughts were all around flying, and her fun trip to the park, and what she was planning on doing there. She wasn't quite sure, she just knew that she was going to have a lot of fun there, with her daddy, and with herself.
Rayne figured that she would make a new friend. She always did when she went out. Whether the person be adult, child, dog, or baby, she always made a friend, mostly due to her over cute. With her little baby face, and her little baby hands, it was hard not to just fall in love with her. She loved everyone too. She loved how Issy called her Raynie, and how Daddy was so nice, and she loved going out into the gardens to play, when Daddy was out there, of course. She loved being with her friends, and she loved to play dressup. She just loved everything.

Remy knew how much Rayne loved the park, and it made him happy to see her smile. She was the person who could easily brighten his day, and if he'd been out for awhile, he always looked forward to coming home and seeing her. So far, neither the hunters nor the demons knew he was taking care of her, and he'd rather have it stay that way. He knew that if they found out, they could target her to use her against Remy. However, because of things that had happened in the past, he made sure to keep a much closer eye on those he cared for. If anyone dared to try and harm someone in his family, or even a friend, Remy would unleash Hell.
Though again, he didn't even want to think of such things right now, and he wasn't. He was focused on what he could do with Rayne at the park, and how he could keep her smiling. Last time he'd been to this park, he had seen a lot of kids that were around the same age as Rayne, and he hoped that she could make a few friends. He's also seen a few ice cream stands around, so if there was one there today, he'd gladly buy her some. Rayne was his life, just as Isabeau was. It was clear that aside from the angel god who spent his time fighting hunters and demons, he was also a very family oriented person.
After about a ten minute drive, Remy pulled the car into the parking lot of the park. Then he parked, and got out to help Rayne. Already, he could sense numerous other species around here, a lot of them kids. There were vampires, shifters, weres, and also other angels. Just what species Rayne befriended, didn't really matter to Remy. As long as she was happy, and could find someone she liked being around.

Rayne had been sitting in the back, watching the horizon change as the car sped down the road. For ten entire minutes, she sat quietly, thinking about how much she was going to have fun. She wanted to mostly play with Remy, but if someone offered to play with her, she would surely say yes. Finally, after sitting and watching the view change, the car pulled to a stop. "Yay! We're here!" She giggled as she yelled; Patience would never be a very strong virtue of hers.
"C'mon daddy, help me out! I wanna go play!" Just getting here, and she was already whining. She saw Remy get out of the car and close the driver's side door behind him. He was going to get around and help her out, she knew it. She hoped he wouldn't mind her whining, because she didn't want to have to wait a single second to go play. She saw that there were lots of kids her age running around, giggling, having fun with each other. She was excited to get out and play with them, and Remy. She sat back and waited patiently for Remy to come and unbuckle her.

After getting out of the car and walking over towards the back, he opened the door and unbuckled Rayne. Then he picked her up out of her seat, and set her down outside the car. He kept a hold of her hand the whole time though, and while he trusted her not to run off, he knew that that much excitement in a child could make them act first. So once he shut the door and locked up the car, he began to walk towards the main area of the park, her hand still in his. "Where to first?" Remy asked her.
There were plenty of options to choose from, including slides, swings, monkey bars, a jungle gym, and lots more. He'd stay here all day with her if she wanted to, but kids tended to tire out easily. Again, he'd have to leave some time on the side so he could take her flying. So now as he got closer to the other kids, it practically made him melt inside. Remy adored children, and there was always something about them that brought a smile to his face. They were the ones who could brighten his day, even if he were in the most foul of moods.
However, seeing them at the park also made him think back to his own family. His youngest daughter, Arielle, didn't get much of a chance at life at all. He would've done anything to get her back, so he could love her as a father, and watch her grow. There was Rayne of course, and he'd give up the world for her too, but there was always a part of him missing because of his past. So again, Remy had to quickly push those thoughts away, and he stopped for a moment so Rayne could make her decision on where to go.

Rayne sat patiently, waiting for her daddy to pull her out of the car. Finally he did, and she gasped with excitement as she saw other children running around, screaming and giggling giddily. She couldn't wait to get to play with them, and her daddy.
Within all the scents that the park carried, a few of them stuck out and stung her nose wildly. "Daddy, what's that smell?" she asked, right after he asked her where she wanted to go. She then looked around, and with her little girl fingers, she pointed toward a jungle gym. She was going to go play on that, and she hoped daddy would follow her. She was excited, no denying that one.
Raynie squirmed, trying to have Remy set her down, she wanted to rush off and play, even if there were scents in here that didn't work with her nose. Sighing, she stopped squirming for a few moments and relaxed her entire body, letting her feet carry almost all the weight of her body. She hoped that would make Remy set her down, if anything.
OOC: Sorry its so short. I feel crappy that its short.
