Caid had been following this girl for some time, and he was no stranger to her. He's terrorized her before, but constantly let her go so he could have his fun again later on. Unfortunately for her though, he was getting tired of the games with her. He wanted a new victim, which meant he'd finally end this girl's life once and for all. And since she was only human, there was no way she could sense him as he followed her in the shadows. With tracking and teleportation, Caid was practically the perfect killer. He had experience as well, and his body count was off the charts. If the cops came after him, he could simply teleport away and get himself somewhere else. At the moment though, he and this girl were the only ones in the immediate area. He didn't sense anyone else, and that was always a good thing.
Caid had a feeling that she was heading home, and remembered her path from there. So he put himself ahead of her and appeared from around a corner. He didn't bother to stop or anything, but instead, kept heading straight for her. Once the girl saw him, she quickly stopped in her tracks before turning heel and high tailing it away. It wouldn't do her much good, as Caid used teleport and placed himself in front of her once more. Again, she stopped dead, although reached into her purse and revealed a small pistol. Aiming it at his head, she glared at him. "Come any closer, and I swear to God I'll pull the trigger." She said to him. There was a shakiness in her voice, indicating obvious fear. "So shoot me then." Caid replied. "Do everyone a favor and just end the whole damn thing."
The girl's hands were shaking, but Caid didn't care. He didn't even care if she really did shoot him. Death was always welcomed in his life, and he watched as the girl moved her finger closer to the trigger. Then without much hesitation, she pulled it, or tried to at least. The trigger didn't pull back, but stayed locked in place instead. The safety was on, which was a bit of a disappointment to Caid. Still, that was her first and only chance at killing him. So he grabbed her wrist as well as the gun and yanked her closer. He then spun her around, taking her by the hair and pulling her head back. The hand that was at her wrist, grabbed the gun and yanked it away from her grip. After throwing it to the ground, Caid reached into his coat and pulled out a pocket knife. He used a number of them to do his dirty work, and this was his newest.
"Long time no see." He whispered into her ear. "I hope you didn't think that I'd leave you." It had been some time since he last terrorized this girl, but in no way was he through with her, until tonight. "But honestly, I think I've had enough fun with you. Old toys aren't as fun." Now the girl began to cry, knowing that death was more than likely imminent this time. So in a last ditch effort to get him to let her go, she began to beg. Once again going on about family, friends, and of course, the police. It was all old news to Caid though, he was tired of hearing people beg. "I've already let you live a few times." He said to her. "Now I've changed my ways." And with that, his hand went from her hair, to over her mouth.
Then he brought the knife down into her chest, and the girl let out a muffled shriek. Caid kept her in his grasp until her struggling finally stopped and she fell limp in his arms. From that point, he pulled his knife free, wiping it on her clothes before dropping her body to the ground. As he put the knife away, he looked down at her now lifeless face. She reminded him of an angel he'd attacked awhile ago back in one of the subway station. Blonde hair, blue eyes. So with that thought in mind, he came up with the idea of paying her a visit. He had already let this human know that he was always around, and now he felt the need to let the angel know as well. So he tapped into his tracking, and allowed it to led the way. Or so to speak. “Markov!” Issy feigned a small frown as she caught sight of big, blue eyes peeking around the corner. Her eyes narrowed, but her frown swiftly melted into a smile and she pointed at her son as he poked his head more into view. He blinked questioningly at her, an innocent smile capturing his lips as he hid half of himself behind the security of the corner; he knew that he was supposed to be in bed, but he was bound and determined to not sleep. She had put him to bed nearly two hours ago, and since then he had managed to sneak into the living room twice and now once half-way into the kitchen. “Bed.” She mused, pursing her lips as she attempted to contain her smile. It was hard to be impatient with him, let alone angry, especially when she understood his desire to stay awake; he wanted to say good night to his father, but Issy knew that Lev wasn't due home any time soon. Sadly, Markov didn't understand that, and even if he did, his stubbornness would have remained.
Markov's eyes widened slightly as Issy rose her brows and a small squeak flowed from his lips, and within seconds his head disappeared back around the corner and she heard him scurry back into his bedroom. Issy giggled lightly and shook her head, returning her attention to the sink and the dishes she had to do; but cleaning was something she desperately didn't want to do. Like her son, she missed Lev and wished to see him before she fell asleep. Most of the time, it wasn't hard for her to stay up and wait for him, but exhaustion captured her limbs and made her eyelids heavy; despite how hard it was for her to sleep without Lev, she knew that she'd have no issue falling asleep. She glanced at the dishes and let out a small sigh. They could wait, she knew that they weren't going to go anywhere.
Turning the light off, Issy quietly walked out of the kitchen and paused at Markov's partially open door. She could hear his light breathing and smiled, knowing within a minute or two that he'd finally be asleep. Keeping the door ajar, she turned and walked the remaining distance to her bedroom. Markov had earlier wanted to do a pajama and movie 'party', and so she was already dressed for slipping under her covers and succumbing to the blissfulness of sleep. Within seconds of entering her bedroom, not even bothering with switching the light on, she was under the covers. Her pillow never felt so wonderful beneath her head and she felt relief flow over her as she closed her eyes; it didn't take long at all for her to slip into a light slumber, despite Lev's absence beside her.
An hour or two passed before she stirred and she turned over in bed, though it wasn't her movement that gently coaxed her from her sleep. Something prickled along her mind, but sleep bogged her mind down, setting a thick fog down on her mind. She was still halfway asleep as her eyes fluttered open some and she let out a soft sigh as she felt a presence in her room, but the sleep clinging to her senses distorted the reality of the situation. In her mind, the presence was Lev; why would she think differently? “You're home.” She breathed sleepily, smiling some as she closed her eyes and buried her face in her pillow as she fought falling asleep; Lev's mere presence allotted her easier sleeping. “Come to bed.” Sleeping was calling to her and she was hardly fighting it as she nestled deeper under the covers, still completely unaware of the danger that actually lurked within her bedroom.

With his mind focused on the angel, he was able to tune into his tracking and find out where she was. Issy was at home, and had just gone to bed apparently. That was obviously a good thing for him as it would provide him with a little more ease. Just to make sure that she was asleep though, Caid allowed some time to pass. He didn't want to go in there while she was still awake and ruin his plans. So for the time being, he stuck around the area for about half an hour. Then, he relied on tracking again, just to make sure that Issy was still asleep. When he saw that saw, his next step was teleportation. Again, he had to focus his mind for it, but it was something he was used to. For him, teleporting wasn't much of a task. So it wasn't long before Caid went from being in the streets, to being by the door in the angel's room. For a moment, he stood there and took in his surroundings.
He could sense someone else here, someone young who was more than likely a child. Then there was also a scent, but he didn't have to worry too much about that. Whoever it was, wasn't in the house. All it was, was a lingering smell. Caid, Issy, and the child were the only ones here, but of course, Caid was an unwelcome guest. As he stood by the door, he gazed over at Isabeau before quietly making his way over. She was fast asleep, another advantage for him. Hopefully, she wasn't the type who woke up easily. Caid had a plan, and he went through with it as he carefully climbed into the bed with her. He truly was a creep, something that came to be obvious quite often. He stalked people, spoke of strange things at times, and just recently, violated the angel who was now lying next to him. Now did he plan on doing the same thing again? Not really...or at least not as much as he had last time.
More than likely, he'd do one or two things, but again, nothing like his last visit with her. So after climbing into the bed, Caid waited until he heard Issy speak. When she did, he noticed that she had mistaken him for Lev. For that, Caid was use it to his advantage. Taking his hand, he placed it on her side and moved his body closer to her's. Then his hand moved further up her midsection before stopping. If she turned around, she'd see that it wasn't who she thought it was. In fact, it was the last person she'd ever want to see. Caid knew that he was already a nightmare to her, and that would never change. He didn't care if she had told her father either. So what if Remy came after him? It was a certain death wish, but as Caid always mentioned, he wanted death. If suicide didn't matter to him, he would've taken his own life a long time ago.
So now it was all down to the waiting game again. Once she turned around, Caid would put a hand around her mouth to keep her from screaming. He still kept that child in mind, and even though a kid wouldn't be able to do much, Caid still didn't want to wake anyone else up. A smile crept over Issy's face as she heard the faint sound of footsteps, comfort flooding over her as she heard what she thought to be Lev grow closer to the bed; a faint sigh slipped from her lips as she felt the bed dip, followed by the warmth from a body nestling closer to her. She moved into the body behind her as an arm snaked around her waist and her smile brightened some; while waking up in the middle of the night whenever Lev came home was not fun, it wasn't all bad. It had it's own pros, and cuddling was one of them. Issy enjoyed the closeness of Lev, especially after not seeing him all day. Her hand moved over Caid's hand, which she still believed to be Lev's hand, and for a moment drifted over the top of his hand as she brushed her fingertips gently over the skin of his hand.
Her brows furrowed some, but not because she noticed that it wasn't her fiance; her heart fluttered some as she moved back against Caid, wanting to feel Lev closer to her despite the lack of space already between them. Another sigh slipped from her lips as she felt her muscles relax, though she had not been aware of being tense; an ache she had also not been aware of slowly ebbed away as she worked her fingers in between Caid's. Even in her thoughts, having Lev so close, holding her, was heaven and it was only then that she realized how much she had missed him during the day. As much as it seemed they fought, and as bad as those fights seemed to be, Lev was her drug, poison and cure all in one. His mere presence made her soften, filling her with a warmth that no one else was capable of making her feel; having him home, finally, was such a comforting feeling and nothing in the world would ever come close to how wonderful it felt to be in his arms.
But the nirvana was all in her head, as it wasn't actually Lev who held onto her; she was still completely oblivious, however, the haze of sleep bogging her senses. Even with Caid so close to her, she was so lost in her own world and hazy thoughts of sleep that his scent never registered in her mind or caught her attention. So, still believe it to be Lev who held her, Issy slowly brought the hand she held onto slowly up to her lips and brushed a kiss over the fingers lightly entwined in her own. It was only then, with the fingers a breath away from her nose, did she catch the scent. Sleep at once disipated and her mind sparked to life, as did the rest of her body. Uncontrollable tension rolled over her and she wasn't able to keep her heart calm as it suddenly skipped a beat and then painfully pounded against her chest. Nausea undulated down her body and tears pricked her eyes within seconds.
No. Not him.
Issy swallowed, or at least tried to. Fright clenched her throat shut and her mind reeled from the rush of adrenaline. She wanted to move away, pull away, tear herself away; the heaven she had found in the touch was suddenly tainted and she yearned to yank away, but she didn't want to move. She didn't know what to do. Fright rendered her immobile, and all she could do was lay against him and fight the urge to puke, cry and scream all at once. Was it a nightmare? Issy wished, with all her might, that he wasn't behind her, holding her and touching her. Goosebumps ran down her skin as she fought the images of their first encounter, and a shiver stole down her body. As much as she didn't want to remember, her body remembered his touch well and her stomach churned from the perversion. This wasn't real, it wasn't happening. Not again. He wasn't there. It was a nightmare.
But his body felt real, and his warmth felt real and his disgusting scent was much too real in her nose. She fought the urge to look over her shoulder, and swallowed the scream that itched up her throat. If she screamed, it would draw Markov's attention and she was not about to endanger her baby. Blinking back tears, willing Lev to walk in the door and save her before there was a repeat of their last meeting, Issy steadied her shaky breaths. “Please don't hurt me.” Issy mewed softly, not caring how pathetic it sounded even to her own ears.
