It was clear that Lev wasn't pleased in the slightest. His boss knew he hated training the new people, but he always looked past that. Lev had gone through training all his life, ever since he was about two years old, and extremely young age for such a thing. However, it was because of the increasing numbers of angels and demons, as well as the existence of Kamiya and Remy, that this facility had gotten him going at that age. Now, he was one of the best that The Bridgefield Union had, and it was the reason why the noobs were sent to him quite often. As mentioned though, Lev hated it, and there were even times when he directly turned away from such things, and let someone else handle the issue. Unfortunately for him though, this one was unavoidable. He'd been stuck with some kid, and since he's never heard of his name before, it likely meant that he had no affiliation with the Bridgefield Union at all. Great. And for all he knew, this kid could've been one of those idiots who thought they knew everything.
In Lev's opinion, it wasn't his job to go after the newbie who'd run off after something, or even train them at all. However, it was required that he look after this kid and make sure he did everything right without anything wrong happening. The only good thing that Lev could get out of this, was the extra pay he'd be getting for it. Even with that though, he still would've turned it down had he been given a choice. And of course, he hadn't, so now he was stuck here in the park, and waiting for this kid to show up. As he sat on the park bench, he took his iPod out of his pocket, and put the earbuds in. He had no idea how long he'd have to wait, so why not listen to some music? After a few moments passed, Lev noticed the park emptying out a bit. Usually, that was a good sign, since it meant that he'd be spotted easier. It wasn't good in Lev's mind though, he was actually hoping that his trainee would be a no show.
If he did make an appearance though, Lev was told to take him over near the ruins, and seek out some of the less dangerous species. Things such as mages and druids were the main things he hoped to target, and if there was anything else there, he'd have to pass. He'd rather not get his ass yelled at for taking on something stronger. So as Remy sat there, he leaned back some against the bench and kept an eye out. Thanks to the coat he wore, he once again blended in with everyone else around him. Under that coat, were the weapons he carried, but there was no reason for the public to have to see them. They'd flip out like always, and likely call the cops. And since The Bridgefield Union was it's own organization, they tried to keep hidden from the police.

Its what happens when older kids come to the park. They recruited by 5 year olds wanting to be pushed on the swing. Which is what happened to Lucien, he didn't mind to much though. Soon enough it was time for the girl to go home and it was time for him to get to work. Green eyes surveyed the park, though strands of brown hair kept being blown into them by the wind. He blew it out of his face, before catching sight of a guy that, while he dressed normal enough, seemed completely out of place. He was rather intimidating. It wasn't that he had expected some sweet old lady who would offer him cookies, but still.
" Come on Lucien. This is what you've always wanted, to acting like some scared little kid."
Then again, that is what he was. But this also was what he always wanted. He'd been training since he was six and he was finally going out into the field.
He shook it off though. He approached the guy, standing there sort of akwardley for a moment. " A-are you Lev?" He stuttered against his will. So much for making good impression, he probably just made himself look like an idiot, the slight french accent probably didn't help very much with that either. " I'm Lucien." He quickly tried to cover it up by introducing himself, a forced smile crossing his face. Though if the guy wasn't who he thought he was, he probably just made an even bigger idiot of himself. He was trying to seem calm and collected, but something about the guy scared him slightly, or maybe just the situation in general made him nervous, who knew what they'd run into out there, and his nerves were pretty obvious.

Upon seeing someone approach, Lev took the ear buds from his ears and looked over to the kid. There was a brief, and somewhat awkward moment of silence, but as soon as the kid spoke, he knew he'd finally come across the one he was supposed to train. At first, it surprised him at how young the kid seemed. Lev had thought he'd get some older teenager who didn't want to listen. It was actually a bit of a relief to him. "No, I'm the Easter bunny." Lev said, his accent pretty strong as well. It was clear that he was being sarcastic, and the accent gave away that he was Russian. So it seemed a little more than obvious that he was indeed the one this kid was looking for.
"You're not completely new to this, are you?" If he was, then things would pretty much be useless. Hunters needed to be trained through lectures and "in class" training before heading out into the field and doing stuff first hand. That being said, Lev had been told that he wasn't, but he knew that his boss often told him stuff like that, just to mess with him. Sure, it pissed Lev off, though there wasn't much he could do about it. So for the most part, he had to play along, with maybe a bit of bickering every now and then.
After another moment or two, he took another glance at his surroundings. There weren't too many other people around, and that was a good thing. People had a tendency to listen in on things, even if it wasn't any of their business. If anyone heard him mention hunters, or any of the other species, who knew what would happen? For all Lev knew, there could've been more of them around here, and the majority didn't like hunters. Being ambushed while training someone, wasn't something he looked forward to.

Really sarcastic, and Russain. So far the guy fit the description he was given. This should be... fun. Maybe.. possibly. Probably not. But he wasn't backing out now. A frown crossed the kids face as he was asked if he was completely new to this. A frown crossed the kids face, annoyance shining in bright green eyes " No! I've been through all the training!" He crossed his arms, obviously a little offended. He didn't seem /that/ young did he? " Look I'm not as young as I seem!" He snorted. One thing he hated, being treated as a kid. Well.. maybe he was one. but that wasn't the point. The point was, he has faced more than what most kids have, and so he liked to think he was more mature than that.
Another few beats of silence passed, and he annoyance dwindled a little as Lev looked around. He did too, but more briefly. " Well... so are we gonna go?" He asked slightly impatient, his annoyance being redirected to the fact they were still standing here. He bounced on the balls of his feet, green eyes staring up at the older man in front of him, obviously eager to do something, anything that'd get him closer to his goal.

It was another moment of relief when the kid said he'd been through all the training. For once, his boss hadn't lied about it. "Good, because this would be useless if you hadn't." Lev said to him. Again, if he had to train people, then his gig would be to train them in the field, not in classes. And when he heard the kid mention that he wasn't as young as he seemed, he simply gave a slight huff. "Fourteen or fifteen, right? Well, as long as you don't do anything stupid, we'll be fine."
Lev then stood up, and began walking away from the bench and out of the park. It was a bit of a walk to get to the abandoned buildings, and he didn't have his truck at the moment. Sure, it was an annoyance, but he'd try his best to get along with this kid. So once he was out of the public's view, he revealed a gun before loading a clip into it, and pulling back the slide to chamber a round. Then he handed the gun over, even though it was a bit odd to be giving one to a kid. Lev just trusted that he'd learned stuff about guns already.
"You might want to hold onto that." He said to him. "I'll give it to you early. Just don't reveal it to the public, and don't shoot it unless you're sure." Lev has seen new hunters waste rounds plenty of times, and it was a shame. They always seemed to go by their first instinct, instead of using the things they were taught, and better judgment. It was one of the reasons why he never hunted with them, and he found them to be a waste. True, everyone had to start somewhere, he just didn't like it when that starting point involved him.

" So we wont have a problem!" A smile crossed the kids face again " Thirteen. Actually" Though he was happy he was estimated to be older. Even if it was just a year or two. Maybe this wouldn't be too bad.
" Where we going?" He asked. " We walking?' He tilted his head, jogging slightly as he fell behind. It was then, once they were out of the public eye, he was given a gun He was kind of surprised actually. The guy didn't seem the type to trust a kid with something like this.
" Of course you can be trusted with it!" He told himself
" Right!" He took the gun, being sure the safety was on, before tucking it away inside his jacket. He grinned, " So what we hunting today? Green eyes looked up at the older man. There was a cheerful tone to his voice, despite the fact they could run into anything out here. Many things. Things that could kill a thirteen year old just as easily as breathing almost. Still he was obviously anxious, excited for it. Ever since he was rescued, he had wanted to be a hunter, he had trained as hard as he could. And this was his first day of field training. Who wouldn't be excited? After a few years of this, he'd be ready to go off on his own. protect people.

"Good." Lev said in response. He couldn't just walk out on a trainee, but he wasn't ever in a mood to deal with someone who had an attitude either. "Yes, we're walking, and we're going to the abandoned buildings." He continued. From what he's heard, there were some druids over there at the moment. They weren't too much of a threat, and made pretty easy targets if you did things the right way. During the years that Lev's been a hunter, most druids weren't too bad of a challenge. However, some were more powerful than others.
And speaking of their kind, Lev heard the kid ask what they were hunting. "Druids. We'll start you with the easier ones." Honestly though, the easiest to hunt of all the species were humans, but Lev usually didn't have to go after them. There were a few here and there, like a human who was helping out the vampires or something and posing a threat, though that was about it. If this had been Lev's decision though, he would've started off with some street thugs and whatnot, but that wasn't his boss wanted.
"So, who trained you?" Lev asked. He wasn't entirely too interested in the answer, but it was enough to break up the awkward silence that was encroaching on them. As far as he knew, there weren't too many places that trained hunters in Bridgefield. They didn't want to have a place that was right at the heart of where Remy and Kamiya stayed. And to Lev, it was a good idea. It was Remy who had destroyed the place that Lev was trained at, and he remembered it clear as day. While he understood why the angel had done such a thing, it sill didn't justify for it him. Lev hated him, and it wasn't likely that anything would change that.

" Abandoned buildings got it!" He chimed cheerfully. " Easy?" He then frowned somewhat. " We'll start you out with something easier." He didn't want easier! He could handle anythign else they threw they threw at him! Or at least that's what he thought. He was convinced he could, and he felt somewhat underestimated. He snorted slightly, and crossed his arms. Of course they all thought he was just some little kid. Typical. Well, he'd just have to prove he can easily handle this much.
His annoyance was forgotten, at least for now, as Lev asked a question. " I trained in a base a few towns over. Ashton I think it was called. " He answered, looking away from him, shoving his hands in his pockets. " Originally I'm from France. Though my parents moved here to Bridgefield when I was little." The last part was somewhat irrelevant too the question, but he really didn't pay to much mind too it. It was still information, and it was at least a bit of a conversation.Large eyes looked back up to the older male and he tilted his head slightly. " What about you? Where you from?"

Lev heard the question directed at him, an answered. "Siberia." He said to Lucien. Actually, Lev was from another city, but he was way too young to remember anything. He was a newborn baby when another hunter found him and brought him over to Siberia. So in Lev's opinion, it was more like home over there than in the actual city he was born in. "They were extremely strict at the place I was trained at." It was one of those places that was supposed to be tucked away, and hidden from everyone else. Not even the government knew about them. If it hadn't been for Remy, he still might've been there. Hunting out in the field of course, but helping out at that place in his free time.
Hell, Lev would've done anything to go back to Russia and live there. It just wasn't convenient for him though, and Bridgefield was where the money was. Even if he did go back though, he couldn't guarantee that he'd get a good job as a hunter. Sure, there were probably quite a few groups like there were here, but again, Bridgefield was ground zero. Hunters here made quite the chunk of money, though it wasn't enough to make him rich or anything. "They were strict to the point where some tried to escape." Lev continued. "No one ever managed to though. If you tried, they'd kill you." Harsh? Yes. But they were always hush hush about their existence. Just how Remy found though, he wasn't sure.
One of these days, he'd really love to kill the angel god...but he knew it basically impossible for a human to do so. So for now, it was only a pipe dream. That being said, Lev turned a corner, and it was another few minutes before the abandoned buildings came into view. Once they got close enough, they have to make their way in with caution. Druids could sense others around, and Lev didn't want to give them any early heads up about him being there.

" Siberia?" He tilted his head. As he continued he gave a few surprised blinks. " Well...that sounds pleasant..." He said, blinking a few more times. Harsh more like it, and very cold.. wasnt siberia in northern Russia? Wasnt it like.. freezing there? It didn't think Ashton was that strict. And down here it was pretty warm. Was Bridge field? " Why'd you leave?' He asked with a slight tilt of his head " How'd you end up in Bridgefield?" It seemed a guy like him would have stories, interesting ones, and he wanted to know about him. He was training under him, so it was his right wasn't it?'
It was then they reached the abandoned buildings. His excitement was growing by the minute. green eyes turned back up to Lev as he bounced slightly on his heels " Whats the plan?" He asked as looked back to the apartments. He was probably about to enter in too the most important moment of his life as of yet. His first fight, and he was anxious, and a little nervous.
" You know all this stuff. you know the basics about druids.. you'll be fine. He tried telling himself. He took a deep breath, looking back up at Lev, waiting for further instructions.

"It's not the most comfortable of places, but it's where I call home." Lev said. They had purposely picked Siberia as their location for this facility, and the main reason was for the weather. According to them, the harsh cold made for better training, though it also made for better punishment as well. If you did something they didn't like, they wouldn't hesitate to throw you out there in the snow until you damn near froze to death, literally. It's happened to Lev before, and his first experience with that was enough.
From there, he heard Lucien's second question, and addressed that as well. "Remy." Lev told him, that small hint of despise in his voice. "He destroyed the place, and came close to killing everyone in it, including children." Lev had been the youngest they'd ever had when he first came. Usually, you didn't get anyone younger than five. And when Remy came, he'd managed to destroy it to stop them from training hunters. Of course, Remy had his own reasons, but again, Lev never found any real justice in it.
"I came here shortly after to find better work as a hunter." After Remy's little raid, people in that part of Russia had realized just what he could do against hunters. For that, they went silent, and Lev couldn't do much. He didn't like to think back to that event though. He loved kids, and it angered him each time he thought of it. So as they turned the corner and saw the abandoned buildings, Lev stopped before they got all that close to them. "First of all, we can't just run in there. Since they can sense us, it'd be like giving them early warning."
If the druids ran off, it would've been pretty much pointless to come here. He could've chased them, but Lev didn't want to bring attention to himself or Lucien. "To keep the scent away, I usually go in the opposite way of the wind." As of now though, there wasn't much wind to speak of. Still...that didn't mean they wouldn't pick up on their scent.

Lucien didn't understand how anyone could call a place like that home, it seemed like it'd be way too cold he didn't say anything though. He listened to the rest of the story. " The angel god?" He remembered learning a little about him in his earlier training. " Don't he and Kamiya live here in Bridgefield?" This was supposedly the main place for the war, ground zero the called it. The two gods lived here, and so did many of the creatures. It was exciting, the fact that they were up close in the action, but also slightly nerve-racking, the fact that anyone you meet could be a potential enemy.
Lucien nodded, though there wasn't really much of a wind at this point in time, just a little breeze that was enough to blow his bangs in face, which made it annoying enough. He looked at the building " And once we're in there and we find them?" He asked looking back up at him, bouncing slightly on the balls of his feet. He was obviously very eager to get this show on the road, to get some action started. It would be the first piece of action, after years of lectures and classroom type training. What hunter-to-be wouldn't be excited?

It was pretty well known amongst the hunters that Lev's worked with, that he's come across Remy firsthand, and managed to live through one of his attacks. "Yes, that'd be him." He said to Lucien. It was easy to see why he'd have such bitter feelings towards him, and remembering that day just made Lev want to kill him even more. If the two of them ever came across one another again, he had no doubt in his mind that Remy would recognize him, or at least the tattoo on the side of his neck. All the hunters and trainees at that place were given the same tattoo, so if Remy saw it, it'd be instant recognition.
"They do." Lev said as he continued. "I'll admit that it isn't likely for us to kill them, but they're our top prize." It'd be quite the accomplishment for a hunter to do such a thing, though all Lev could really do, was dream about it. Those two were gods, easily able to crush humans as if they were flies. Usually, hunters didn't mess with them, but there were a few brave, or rather foolish, souls who tried to do so, only to fail. Hopefully, this kid wouldn't make that kind of mistake when he got older, though Lev was sure he was already smart enough not to.
"Once we find them, we do a little negotiating." Lev said. "Some people don't like if it we attack for no reason. They just fail to understand that we usually go after the trouble makers." As Lev had mentioned, the Bridgefield Union didn't send their hunters after any old species wandering around on the streets. Sure, that's what the public liked to believe, but it wasn't true. So to solve that issue, they'd make a reason to attack through conversation. Get something going, have the druids attack, and then you had your reason.

" Wow..." He blinked a few times. And he apparently managed to live. " How'd you survive though?" He tilted his head. He hadst heard of very many stories of human survivors from attacks form either Remy or Kamiya. Or well.. any really. It'd be interesting to hear one from the survivor himself. it hadn't quiet crossed the kids mind yet that he might be being insensitive and bringing up bad memories. His curiosity hadn't allowed that thought to cross his mind yet.
" If we somehow did manage to kill them wouldn't the war be over?' He asked. " Why don't they just send an army of h8unters after them?" They were only two beings after all...couldn't a bunch of hunters beat them? The again... they were gods.
He nodded as he spoke more about the plan with the druids. " So... we provoke them?' He asked? and then with out anymore questions he started to walk towards the buildings. " Well standing around here isn't gonna do anything... lets go!"

Lev knew he was lucky to survive an attack by Remy. It was just him, and another person or two who managed to live. "That's something I've never been able to figure out." He explained. "Remy was literally destroying the place, and the last thing I remember was the building collapsing." From there, he awoke in the rubble. Battered, bruised, and bloodied, but very much alive. Seeing people he knew though, dead and buried in the rubble as well, was devastating. Especially when it came to the kids.
Lev didn't like to think about it, but he felt that it was best to bring it up at times, to show what he believed to be a darker side of Remy. "They're gods." He continued to explain. "We're only human. But yes, killing them would end the war." If the hunters ever managed to take out both gods, that would take care of their biggest problem. However, the other species were still around, and they'd have to deal with them as well. Still though, killing the gods, and Remy in particular, was Lev's ultimate goal.
Moving on to the plan at hand though, Lev smirked a bit. "We do, and it isn't for no reason. These druids aren't innocent." He'd already brought it up, but Lev wanted to make it clear that Union hunters didn't go after innocents. In fact, they were told not to, and if they did, it meant punishment. A Union hunter had to have a reason to kill someone, but it was after that, in which things could get rather...unfair. If you had your reason, then you could pretty much do what you wanted. As long as it didn't go against orders.
