The past few weeks had been overly stressful for Annie, well really the past few years had been, but the past few weeks had been even worse. She had gotten used to be being around the demons that had kidnapped her and kept her against her will, and then they turn on her, hold her down and inject her with their filthy blood. And the worst part, their plan had worked and she now was one of them, a filthy demon. It was bad enough that she had had to live with those that had killed Terrance, and now she was one of them. But now she was free and searching for her brother. God, she just hoped that he hadn't moved on and left Bridgefield, she had missed him so much, and it had been horrible without him, well without anything but demons around was pretty bad too. But she was strong and has lived through it and escaped, though it was far too easily done, even for her.
She had been gone for four years, so understandably, she had no idea where to go or what to do, which gave her the look of either a homeless bum or a lost little girl, and she was somewhat of both, she was at the time homeless and a little lost. She was confused and shocked about what the outside world looked like. It was so, different, and not so much in a good way. She had been passed by many strange people, one's that she would have never wanted to simply lay eyes on in the past and even now. She quickly came across a nice little coffee shop, maybe someone there would know where Peter was, she'd go in a ask. It would most likely kill her if he had left town.
As Annie opened the door, she was it with the smell of coffee, she hadn't smelt it for so long, it was so good. If she had any money she would have gone right up to the counter and bought some, but she had none. She sighed a little as she took in the surroundings, there were a few people sitting at tables, drinking, eating and what not. Her eyes glanced around the place, going over everything quickly. She looked over all the people that she could see and froze, a few steps away from the door that she had just walked through. No, it couldn't be, could it? She couldn't be this lucky and find him in the first place she wandered into, that just doesn't happen. Her eyes were glued to the tall, ginger male that was talking to a couple a few tables from where she was standing. She took a few awkward steps toward him and spoke in a quiet voice. "Peter?" She was close enough for him to hear her clearly, but far enough so that if it wasn't him she could make a quick, embarrassed getaway.
notes, so my opener really sucks ... xD

Another day, working at a vegetarian resturuant. Oh what /fun/. Not really... He just did the usual, take orders, bring them to tables, same old, same old. Good thing his shift was like.. fifteen minutes from being over. Then freedom to do whatever he wanted.. probably go home and take a nap. Not like he made enough to go anywhere fun... story of his life.
He had just got busy taking an couples order, he heard someone call his name. He knew a few people, but they weren't vegetarians, so it was odd that they'd be here. He didn't think much about it " I'll be wth you in a sec!" He got finished taking the order, taking he back to the kitchen quickly, before turning around and heading back to the main area. Thats when he caught sight of her. At first he didntquite recognize her. But then again, he'd recognize that red hair and green eyes anywhere. He probably paled a few shades ( if that was even possible) " A-annie?" He managed to stammer out. It couldn't be, it was just probably a figment of his imagination. He missed his sister dearly, and it could be very possible. Did figments tyalk though? or know ou're name?

Annie just could not believe this, it was just so, what was the word, unexpected, exciting, amazing, overwhelming and a whole lot more added on top of what she was already feeling. It really was all a little too much for her and she felt a little like she might collapse from a mixture of shock, joy and confusion right on the spot. Though at first she thought that she was wrong and that it wasn't Peter at all, but then he came back and she realised that it was indeed her big brother, here, in the one place that she had been to since she had gotten out, it was just all so unbelievable. You could say that she was somewhat in shock, but she wasn't showing the signs of it at all.
At the sound of his stammering her name she smiled, not a normal smile, but a big, somewhat cheesy grin. Oh she was so excited to see him again. Annie squeaked a little, "Oh my god! It's really you!" She pretty much ran toward him and embraced him in a huge hug. There were tears in her eyes, tears of joy, she was so happy right now, this was the best day of her life. But she had so much to tell him, and so much that she would rather not tell him, like the fact that she was no longer a druid like him, and instead a filthy demon, one of those that she hated. She broke the hug and simply looked at him with a grin, "so, how have you been?" That was such an Annie thing to say, she had learned to mask the majority of her emotions, and she had just realised that they were int he middle of a public place, and she didn't want to embarrass Peter with her squealing and excitement.

It was barley a second after he stammered her name he was almost tackled in a hug. She wasn't a figment of his imagination...She really was her. it was so sureal.. He hugged her back, tight embrace, a laugh escaping fro him, and a rather stupid grin crossing his own face. He pulled away, looking down at her and gently brushed the tears from her cheeks. " I don't believe this...How?" After all those years of looking, thinking she was dead, and here she shows up in the very place he works? What were the odds? This was rather.. unbelievable.
" So,How have you been?
A rather odd question. They were separated 4 years ago, and finally reunited, and she asks how has he been? " Looking for yo-" He was cut off but a sharp yell from his boss " Peter! Stop the love show and get back to work!" For a vegetarian place his boss sure was a harsd ass, and obviously didnt care this was obviously an emotional moment. He gave his little sister an apologetic look. " Sorry Annie... but i gotta keep this job..." He said queitly. with a sigh. " I'll be off in 15 minutes tops/"

The poor girl, she hadn't seen him for four years and he couldn't believe that it was her there in front of him. But she couldn't blame him, she was so close to not believing that he was here, in front of her either. She had dreamed about it for so long, for pretty much the entire time that she had been held captive, she had hoped that this day would come, and here it was, and she was so damn close to not believing that it was actually happening. "Peter, oh my god, wow." Annie managed to stammer out. Speaking was somewhat difficult, even though she was keeping herself together rather well. And then he asked how, it was a big question and she really only wanted to tell him part of it, she let out a few "uh"'s and managed to simply say "tell you later, when there's more time, and less people."
When his boss interrupted them, Annie gave him the smallest evil glare, but then took it back when her brother said that he needed the job and she realised that he did have a life now and he did need to survive and support himself. "It's fine, I understand. I'll be waiting for you." She gave him a sweet smile and watched him go back to work. She quickly found a seat off to the side where there weren't as many people and thought about what she was going to say to Peter when he finished work. There was so much that she wanted to tell him, but then she didn't want to tell him so much more. She sighed a little as she glanced around and watched the others eat and order and such. She sat in the same spot, simply glancing around until Peter came back.
notes, i am so sorry it took me so long to reply.
