From twelve to one AM, this is where everyone gathers to socialize. Truckers talk about different road trips they've been on, how their family is doing etc, all while enjoying a meal. However, once one AM passes, everything changes. The diner goes from bustling, to practically dead as people flow out and go their own ways.
