Saben's presence made things that much worse, and Issy felt her chest ache with unshed tears. It broke her heart into a million pieces to watch Saben circle her father like a shark, waiting to pounce on his unsuspecting prey and feed off of him. To watch the Demon stick a knife into her father's wound shattered whatever was left of her heart, leaving her feeling frighteningly empty inside. Her father hadn't moved an inch, and if it wasn't for the fact that she could still feel him alive, she'd wander if he were dead. But her thoughts drifted hesitantly away from her father as Saben stood against the wall. His presence was like a dark shadow, suffocating her and making her feel more doomed than if she were alone with Kamiya without her father's help. Kamiya was far more powerful, but Saben was more dangerous. He was a timebomb, and masked, rabid animal. He was the classic wolf in sheep's skin, and he frightened her more than Kamiya ever would, and could.
Fear for her baby exploded, ten fold, as Kamiya's fingers drove her back to the situation. A small cry slipped from her as she felt him undo her button and once again she was reminded of Caid. She would have puked, if it weren't for how tightly her throat was clenched. Kamiya's hushed words fell on deaf ears as she fought the urge to vomit and sob, though tear already stained her cheeks. For so long, she wanted a baby, and in one foul moment Kamiya could steal her baby from her before she ever had the chance of meeting him. Even the thought of a bit of harm coming to her baby made her violently shake with fear, but there was nothing she could do. She'd try to fight Kamiya, but there was no chance in her of escaping him or even succeeding; and then there was Saben, who scared her even more. Issy felt hot tears streak down her face as Kamiya's hand lifted up her shirt and caressed her stomach. The motion would have been sweet if it were any other situation, and not Kamiya; Lev had done the same to her countless times, but this was nowhere near the same. She felt threatened by Kamiya's movement, and a new ripple of fear undulate down her as her heart raced uncontrollably against her chest. Issy shut her eyes tightly, willing it to be over.
She would have begged, pleaded, if she knew that it would make no difference, but more than likely Kamiya and Saben would have fed off of it. Her heart felt like it was being ripped in half for the third time as she remained silent against the wall, her skin crawling from Kamiya's repulsive touch. It made her feel dirty, but there wasn't anything she could do nor say; her best chance at saving her baby would be to remain still. She was expecting the worse, and the deafening sound of a gun was a complete and utter surprise; quite a few followed the first shot, but relief didn't spill over her until Kamiya released her and Saben moved away. They vanished within seconds, obviously not liking the sudden rain of fire. Despite knowing her father to be the one firing, Issy had plastered herself more to the wall, but as silence fell over the area she slowly moved away from the wall and hurriedly yanked her shirt down before button her pants. Shaking, Issy glanced over at her father and it was only then that she let out a true cry, allowing her tears to fall freely as she made her way, without hesitation, for her father.
“Daddy, are you okay? What happened? How.. what...” Issy's voice broke as she gaped at her father before slowly, and gently, getting down onto her knees. Her hands shook as she reached out and gently cupped her father's face, blue eyes bright and brimming with tears. The last time she had seen him, she wanted to hit him and scream at him and in fact she had said awful things to him; she was thoroughly pissed with him, but now, seeing him as he was, it no longer mattered. There was so much blood.... It made her stomach curl and shook her head from sheer disbelief that such a thing could happen to her father. He had always been indestructible to her, but this proved otherwise. “I can heal you..” Her thoughts swarmed as she spoke. She could heal him, quite easily she could, and she would. Without hesitation she'd give her life for her father, and irrational thoughts drove her forward. For a moment, she forgot the life inside her and focused purely on her father, the one that surely she could never live without. Ever.

--------------------------------------- Making sure that his daughter was safe, was the most important thing to Remy at the moment. He knew damn well what both Saben and Kamiya were capable of. So to see them near his daughter at all, but especially when she was pregnant, was nerve wracking. There was no doubt that he'd do anything for her, as well as the baby. While Remy hated Lev and the fact that Issy was pregnant, that was still his grandson that she had. If he had to give up his life, he would in a heartbeat. It didn't matter if it meant he'd lose the war or if it put angels in any danger. While he cared greatly for his kind, Isabeau and that baby meant a lot more to him. They definitely meant a lot more than his own health as well, which was why he pulled out that gun and fired at Kamiya and Saben. And thankfully for him as well as Issy, his plan had worked. At least some of the bullets had found their mark, and now the two demons were gone.
Seeing that, Remy laid back down on the ground and heard Issy's voice. Only a matter of moments later, she was at his side. Even with some adrenaline still going through him, he could still feel the searing pain from the wounds. It helped to have Issy there, but he didn't like the idea she proposed to him. "If you heal me, that baby won't make it." He said to her, the pain showing in his features. The sword had gone right through the gut and stomach of that girl, and when Remy used sacrifice, he obtained those very same wounds in place of her's. So if Issy tried to heal him, the same thing would happen to her. It would kill the baby, something Remy would never allow to happen. Not to mention that this was his daughter. He'd take being wounded over her being wounded any day. Even if it wasn't anything major, her health and well being meant more to him.
So he intended on intended on allowing these wounds to heal for themselves, whether or not it caused him any discomfort. And after a few moments, he managed to roll over on his side and get up, picking up the little girl's body in his arms in the process. It caused him quite the amount of pain to do so, but he did his best to ignore it. Then he slowly made his way over to a wall, practically collapsing as he put his weight against it. It took him whatever energy he had left just to do that, but it was better than lying out in the middle of the street. And now with the girl in his arms, he was still angry at himself for allowing any of this to happen. If he had been that much more cautious, the girl wouldn't have died, he wouldn't have been injured, and Issy wouldn't have been emotionally upset. It was another guilt trip for him, much like he had when those hunters slaughtered his family. Remy knew that everyone made mistakes and that they had to learn from them. But these were mistakes that ended up in grief for him.
"I should've been more careful..." Remy mumbled to himself, gently brushing the girl's hair out of her face. The blood covered sword still lying out in the street, Remy's wounds, and the fact that this girl didn't have a single scratch on her body, should've made it a bit easier to put two and two together for Issy. But with tons of thoughts swirling around in her mind, nothing was likely easy. And as far as that sword itself, it meant a lot to him. It was given to him by the angels in Pandorum when he was just a child, and he trained with it as well as fought with it all his life. So it obviously had meaning to him, and to allow it to just lye out in the street as it was, showed just how much Remy was emotionally distraught. He loved kids, and even though he had no other choice but to take the lives of quite a few in the past, he didn't think he could ever do it again. He still regretted it at times to this day, despite it having to be done.
Keeping the girl in his arms, he cringed as a surge of pain tore through his body. The adrenaline was dying down, allowing the pain to settle in. Now, he gently set the girl's body aside, knowing that she was gone, and there wasn't a thing he could do. If he didn't tend to himself, he could quite easily pass out again from blood loss. So focusing on his well being now, he removed his shirt and pressed it to the wound at his gut, hoping to at least slow the flow of blood. If he could get to a needle and some sort of thread, he'd sew the wound himself. It would make things a lot easier in the way of healing, plus, it was pretty much necessary given the severity of it. And for the other wound at his back, well, he obviously couldn't do that himself. Someone else would, but he wasn't too concerned about who at the moment. He just wanted to slow the bleeding and take things from there. ---------------------------------------
