Like everyone, Remy needed time to himself. Unlike most of those people though, he sought out more than usual. He was constantly busy with things, dealing with his own personal stuff, and things that had to do with the angels and the war. Having a daughter to watch out for, and now what seemed like two daughters, wasn't much of an easy task either. However, they were the center point of his life, and he put them out in front of everything else. It was clear how much he cared for family, but not all of his family was here on Earth. There were some other angels over on Pandorum, and while they weren't true family, as in bloodline family, he was close to them. So to keep in contact with them, and to get somewhere peaceful and quiet, Remy had decided to head over to Believer's chapel. He owned the place, though he never came by all too often.
Walking up the stone path that led to the entrance, Remy pulled open the massive doors and went inside. The doors closed behind him, and he continued on his way to walk down the aisle between the benches. He stopped when he got the front, standing in front of a large angel statue before taking a seat. This place wasn't meant for weakly sermons or anything like that, but more or so for prayer and peace. True, Remy didn't necessarily believe in prayer, although it seemed to work for some. After taking his seat, he closed his eyes and concentrated his thoughts and his mind. To speak to the angels on Pandorum, he had to put himself in a trance-like state, and focus himself on them. However, if anyone were to try and disrupt things, something even as simple as walking in through the doors, Remy could lose that concentration. That was more of a good thing though, since he didn't want to be in that state of mind if someone were to try and attack him.
A moment or two later, the angel had achieved what he wanted, and he began to speak in a form of old dialect and tongues. It was their own form of language on Pandorum, but the kind he was using, was a much older version than what they used now. Remy liked to keep in contact with angels of his time, since their were only a handful of them left. Even then, they were at least one hundred years younger. Still, he got an answer back, the message coming through in his mind. It was much like telepathy, though he actually had to speak for it to work. It was simply the answers that came back to him in his mind. The same went for the angels on Pandorum, except it was only the elders who could speak back to him. Now as far as actual conversation went, Remy wasn't just chit chatting like two friends would. No, he was checking in on things there, regarding their own war between the angels and demons.
He'd been told that recently, things were quieting down, and he was glad to hear it. Yet, the brutal and senseless killings of angels by demons were still going on, and that's what sickened him. Remy wouldn't be afraid to admit though, that the angels weren't all perfect either. Sometimes, they senselessly killed demons as well, but Remy frowned upon such things, despite his hatred for demons. Back here on Earth, Remy was fighting his own battles, mainly against the hunters, but demons were still a bother as well. One of these days, Remy truly wished he could go back to Pandorum, he felt that that was home, and where he belonged. Yet, he didn't want to leave the angels here behind, yet alone his daughter. It was because of her, and the connects he's made here, that Remy was staying. Speaking of Issy, he spoke to the angels on Pandorum about her some, but after about five minutes of his conversation, Remy was pulled from his trance. He opened his eyes again at the sound of the doors to the chapel, and he knew he was no longer alone in here.

eloise had a habit of mischief, and getting herself into trouble. her unpredictability had gotten her into sticky situations before, and anyone would bet that she'd be in a similar situation again. but then again ... her unpredictability also wavered some bets. she was a fireball, someone who's temper was well-known and not really sought after. and miss eloise was also brutally honest to anyone. the thing was, she didn't believe in lies and deceit. she didn't find any attraction to even the smallest white lie. she had some bad experience with lies in her past, and this constructed her persona for the future to come. and all of this, personality and history, was packed into such a tiny frame. four feet and eleven inches tall, under one hundred pounds, with silvery blonde hair and a child-like appearance was eloise rousseau.
she was running, her little feet carrying her far as her protruding wings gave lift and extra oomph to her speed. luckily, at this point she was running from nothing but a large dog who was giving chase. eloise had a dislike toward dogs, in fact some of them sort of scared her. this one was, well, one of the ones that did. it was a mutt if not a lab and it was running after her and she was continuing on. it never occurred to her to just fly, but then again she was eloise. she hardly thought about that sort of thing at oppurtune moments. and then she spied a chapel up ahead. veering to the left, she shot out onto the stone path, hoping that her speed up the steps into the building would be enough to leave the dog in her dust. it was.
she clamored to push open the door to the chapel, with all it's wooden splendor, and then her feet skittered on the marble flooring as she tried her best to shut it as fast as she could. once she was sure the escapade was a success she grinned and spun around, facing none other than the head honcho ... remy. here she was, tiny as ever, cheeks red and puffed and her eyes gleaming with the rush of a run, blinking with all her child-like impishness. she smirked, sauntering down the isle between pews and waggled her fingers in a wave. "hey there!"

Once the doors closed, Remy stood from where he was, and turned around to look down the aisle. There he saw a younger female, and one of the first things he noticed about her, was that she was an angel. That was a good thing...usually, but he wasn't about to let his guard down. He's heard of way too many things happening when people let down their guard, and he's even had a few things happen to himself. Because of this, he was always on alert, and ready for whatever was to be thrown at him.
Who could blame him though? There were likely tons of demons, hunters, and a mix of others species who would love to harm him in some sort of way. Even if they didn't have anything personal against him, some believed that they could get major rewards for it. It's been done in the past, the hunters striking against his family in hopes of getting to him. Little did they know though, that that was a big mistake. He declared war against them, and that was when they learned first hand, just what they had done.
So now as the younger female walked down the aisle of the chapel, Remy kept in mind that not all angels were on his side. "It's not everyday that people come running through here." He didn't really fancy being interrupted, and it showed in his voice. He wasn't entirely too upset though, and in no way was he angry. However, what he said was true. Chapels were usually a place where people came to seek peace, so it was a bit odd for someone to barge in here. Though again, he wasn't upset about it too much.
Remy was never the type to get angered easily, unless you messed with his family or anyone else he cared about. If you did, that was the point where you could easily push him over the edge. Otherwise, he was pretty calm. Bitter, yes, but still calm nonetheless. He knew his anger could be quite frightening, and that was part of the reason why he tried to keep it under wraps. Never in his life has he harmed someone he cared for, and he hoped that it would stay that way.

eloise did not hesitate in letting out a sigh and slumping her shoulders. the redness faded from her face and she appeared much more relaxed than she did when she first burst into the chapel. she paused in the isle, raising her hands above her head and standing on her toes for a stretch. her wings shot out, looking abnormally big on such a tiny figure. it almost seemed as if she could cocoon herself in the feathery appendages if she so chose. falling on her flat feet again, and letting her wings drift behind her, she slowly dropped her arms back to her sides. blinking at this much bigger and, well, stronger, angel she couldn't help but feel a little intimidated. after all, she was the one with flimsy limbs and little muscle to show for her status as an angel.
when remy spoke back, she could tell that he was displeased, even if slightly, by her disturbance. eloise blinked and looked back at the big wooden door over her shoulder, before shifting her gaze back to the big guy. "no, but it's not everyday someone gets chased by a dog either." she replied bluntly, shrugging in a rather nonchalant way as she moved forward closer to where remy was. she blinked, pausing and taking in the big guy for a moment. she recognized him, but she was sure he wouldn't recognize her. stopping a decent distance away from him, she held out her empty palm for shaking, her round and large blue eyes gleaming in a rather mischievous way. "i'm eloise. most people just call me ellie, though if i am in trouble it's rousseau." she introduced herself, stifling the fact that she was more often called rousseau than ellie simply due to the fact that she was more often in trouble with someone.

Remy watched for a moment as the other angel stretched, spreading her wings in the process. It did look odd for someone so small to have wings, but Remy wasn't there to judge anyone. In fact, he hated people who judged others, but he couldn't speak much for that. He himself tended to judge a certain group of people, and those people were hunters. In his opinion though, they deserved it. He didn't trust them, and their promises were as good as nothing to him. They were the enemy, plain and simple.
Now a days, he had two ultimate goals in life. Destroy the demons, and destroy the hunters. Sure, the hunters thing wasn't all too likely to happen, since hunters were human and humans were all over the place. Remy didn't like to think that way though. He believed that if he could prove to hunters that they were weak and did absolutely nothing in this world, then he could stop them from forming. Still though, in the back of his mind, he knew it wasn't likely. Hunters were persistent, and usually arrogant in every way possible.
"A dog?" Remy said to the girl. "Couldn't you have just flown away?" It made more sense than just trying to run. Though in some situations, you always went with your first instinct...which was probably to run. Then in other cases, it wasn't always best to fly off somewhere. True, this was Bridgefield, and there were angels and demons everywhere. However, there was still no telling how some people would react if they saw someone flying through the air with a pair of wings. To keep unwanted attention away, Remy tried to keep from doing that as much as possible.
From there, Remy reached out and took the girl's hand as she offered it. "So, you draw in trouble then, huh?" He said with a slight smile. "That's not always a good thing, is it?" He's been around plenty of people like that, and usually, it was the humans. Some of them still didn't realize that they weren't the only ones in existence, and that tended to get them into quite a bit of trouble. It was all because of his morals that he still defended them. He was always the kind to stand up for the weak, and defend the innocent from whatever threats there were out there.

eloise was not made of common sense, nor was she made of stupidity. sometimes instinct took over, and she simply forgot that those giant cumbersome wings protruded from her back. she shouldn't, it is in an angel's nature to have them. still, it was not in her first instinct to use them. glancing over her shoulder, she eyed the white feathers dragging on the ground and couldn't help but roll her eyes at them before turning to face the big guy again. "i guess i could've run, but i just didn't think to." she replied honestly, smiling a little bit. when it came to honest being the best policy, eloise would agree hands down.
though now that she thought about it maybe flying wasn't such a good idea anyway. to be seen like that over nothing but a dog would cause major implications and probably trouble. not that she was new to that sort of stuff. memories burst in her head like flowers and she stifled the urge to just laugh. at least she was good at escaping things. her body's size really dummed down her combat and fighting abilities but made was she good at making a getaway. remy took her hand for the shaking, and she kept her grip firm, trying to match the strength behind his without success. "it would seem so." she smirked, once again stifling some imp-like sort of laugh. "oh don't tell me, tell those stupid demons." she replied with a grin. demons were the main source of trouble for the little angel. hunters she could avoid. but demons had abilities too and it was quite difficult to make a getaway from another 'magical' being. and it was the demon's that sent eloise through a loop every time she made the mistake of letting down her guard. she had to find where this trouble magnent resided on her, and remove it.
