" ID"
The young women adorned in a sparkly mini dress dug in her purse, pulling out the fake ID, she handed it to the bouncer. " You look a bit young to be Twenty one... He said, before looking down at the card and seeing the 50 dollar bill around it. " Right.. of course you are... He shoved the bill in his pocket before letting her through. Her friends soon followed, two other girls. " You'll see Nat.. this place is awesome!" One giggled. Natalie gave a half hearted smile as she looked around. It was different.. much different from the uptown clubs she had been in. Even worse, they all seemed to stick out like sore thumbs...but... her friends had survived it before, why couldn't she? Just as long as daddy didnt find out.. she was good.. but he was too busy with his work anyways.
" Is this a good idea?
Usually she wasn't like this. Usually she was just as wild as the rest... but this was a complete different setting than she was used too. And she had heard stories about this place.
" Stop worrying Nattie.. you are perfectly capable of taking care of yourself. " She told herself, it was then she was snapped out of her thoughts by a tug on her arm. Come on Nat!Her friends were dragging her over to the bar and ordered a round of drinks for the three of them. She didn't get drunk, not yet at least, but she loosened up enough to allow herself to be dragged onto the dance floor.
The beat was rhythmical, catchy. She couldn't help but move her hips to it. This was ok.... She was with her friends, here to have a good time. Maybe to flirt a little...catch a few eyes, which they did,... but a good time was the most important thing. It was then though... their little group dispersed and her friends disappeared into the crowd. It was then for the first time she really felt the eyes watching her, lots of them and her worry came back. She was now alone downtown. Alone in the club, a rose among thorns.
