Nate is a man who enjoys his quiet time, as well as sleep. If either are disturbed, glares will be coming your way and you might just find stuff in your food. Not anything harmful, of course, but Nathaniel is fond of being vindictive in an almost child-like manner. He doesn't think of himself as a prankster, but in a glorified way that is all he is when it comes to becoming annoyed. Unless insult/threat is directed at a friend of his, or another human if it is coming from a non-human, anger isn't exactly an issue with Nathaniel. The man enjoys laughing and a good time over violence and aggression: when he is sober. If you tell him a good joke, chances are he will try and make you a friend. Love, on the other hand, is something he doesn't know how to do so well. Making love is a different story, it is just the act of loving that makes him scared and confused. Lacey aside, Nate doesn't exactly know how to love someone. He knows how to care, and that alone, on some deep level, frightens him. He's your classic commitment-runner, though only because he fears, in the end, hurting someone. As much as he enjoys women, womanizing isn't a go for Nate. In fact, he hates womanizers and drunk or sober will knock any man on his ass if he ever sees a male being, even in the slightest, rude to a female. He is the kind of man who sees women as fragile, gentle creatures who should, at all time, be protected. Whoever said chivalry is dead was mistaken, or they at least didn't notice Nathaniel and his figurative white horse. He is a soft spoken man, normally. If you're ever in trouble with him, he will skip the quiet routine and blow your ear drums out. He doesn't mess around when pissed... though you'd have to be completely retarded/rude/obnoxious/wearing on his patience to see a ticked-off Nathaniel.

Standing at a daunting 6'3" and weighing in at 189lbs, Nathaniel is a solid wall of muscle and intimidation. He keeps his body in excellent condition and steers away from the poison of drugs, smoking aside. Junk food is a no-go with him, as he cares too much for his body and health to damage it in such a way. Good genes aren't good enough for Nate and he exercises on an daily basis. Hair is an issue for Nate and he gets rather frustrated when his hair grows too long. He enjoys having his sandy blonde hair long enough to style, preferring the rolled-out-of-bed look, but at times it is a relief for him to have his head shaved. There is no in between for his hair. His eyes are blue and grow darker depending on what he is wearing and whenever he is upset; but don't try and read Nate depending one what you see in his eyes. Trying to read Nathaniel through his eyes is a near impossible task, unless you truly know him through and through. Facial hair is something he is quite fond of and is rarely ever seen clean shaven. His left arm, shoulder and shoulder blade are the only pieces of Nathaniel to ever be touched by a needle. If you're important to him, chances are, somewhere along his sleeve, you are written down.

The only differences is the colour of not only Nathaniel's skin, but his eyes and hair as well. His hair is the deepest of blacks, mirroring the endless depths of his eyes that are three times the size of normal and almond in shape. His skin is a blistering red, and his insect-like wings a rainbow of reds and blacks that shimmer in any light. With the shattered teeth lurking behind his lips, Nathaniel is a truly horrifying sight and something that not even his mother would if she were alive. His true appearance is constantly hidden, as it even sickens himself.

••• History:

Nathaniel was brought into the world only to discover what a shitty place it was. From the time he took his first breath he was doomed to believe in only the bad within people. The training began when he was four, and like his mother and father was to become a hunter skilled in the art of deceit and death. Disaster struck one night when a group of vampires hunted the Robinson family and slaughtered a good portion of them. His sister, Billie, managed to escape and Nathaniel himself escape, as well. But he was more or less dragged away than successful in escaping. Meant to be dessert, Nathaniel was dragged off to the vampire's haven shared with two sirens. One of them, female, took a vast interest in Nathaniel and before he knew it his humanity was stolen from him. He was turned, to become the female siren's mate. He couldn't deny the instinctual link between them due to her being his maker and sharing her blood, but he hates her more than anyone on the planet and hopes to finally one day rid himself of her. The first year was the hardest, but eventually she loosened the leash on him and now sees him as, more or less, a pet that she protects with her very life.

Nathaniel watches over Billie, even to this day, wishing to tell her just how much he cares for her. His sister presumes him dead, and this is how he would like to keep it because nothing would be worse than for her to discover the hideous monster he has become. Despite being told not to trust other hunters, Nathaniel always dismissed that one rule. Hunters were, and are, humans, therefore he will always give them the benefit of the doubt and trust them until otherwise proved different. He always found the rule silly, due to the fact that it came about because of one experience his father had with a hunter way back when. However, he will admit that he is more cautious of them, due to his unfortunate predicament.
