Once again wandering through the streets of the city, Caid held a rifle at his side. It was an M4A1 Carbine that he'd stolen a few days ago, and it had a scope on it as well. That fact had him wanting to play sniper. Who he targeted though wasn't something he had come up with yet. He didn't really have anyone in mind, so more than likely, it would be a random event. He'd simply pick someone that he saw, then make them into a target. Hey, maybe he'd even kill more than one person. Rifles were fun, and he was beginning to phase into using different kinds of weapons. Before, he would only use knives and other sorts of blades. Then as he began using guns, he started to like them more and more. Sure, they could leave more of a mess, but that didn't matter to him. As long as he took a life, that was all he cared about. Murder was what he thrived off of.
So with the rifle in hand, Caid made his way closer to some buildings. They provided more darkness, which was what he needed. It wasn't everyday that you saw some guy walking around with a rifle, or maybe it was here in Bridgefield, but that was beside the point. He was used to staying hidden and away from the sight of others, so why treat this situation any differently? That being said, Caid slowed when his senses caught on to something. There were two vampires near by, and the mere presence of them brought a bout of disgust. Being a lycan, he had a natural hate for the damn things. So he looked up into the street and saw the two of them. They were apparently a couple, a male and female holding hands as they walked down the street. It brought even more disgust to him, since love was another thing that he hated. In his opinion, it was over rated.
However, he was aware that the vampires could easily sense him as well, so he moved around to some darker shadows as he kept his eyes on the pair. Then, he managed to find a good vantage point for himself as he came up to a building that was still under construction. He could easily get inside and go to a window to take aim with the rifle. And this, was exactly what he did. Caid wandered into the building, taking an immediate left and aiming the rifle out the window. Looking through the scope, he waited until the right moment came. All it took, was a few more moments, and the vampires stopped in the street. They turned towards each other, the female mumbling something with a smile. When she leaned in to kiss her boyfriend, Caid pulled the trigger. He managed to get the bullet right past her and into the skull of the male vampire. A small spray of blood exited out the back of his head, followed by a shriek from the girl. She obviously hadn't been expecting it, and Caid could tell that her emotions were mixed with fear and grief.
He didn't take the time to sit there and watch though. Instead, he removed the rifle from the window and wandered back out the door. Then he made his way towards the vampire girl, the M4 still at his side. She quickly spotted him and was hesitant at what to do. She wanted to stay and check on her boyfriend, who was no doubt dead anyway, yet she wanted to run as well. Some vampire. However, her latter thought must've won the battle as she made the deadly mistake of turning her back on Caid and running. Caid didn't give her too much time before he rose the rifle up once more and fired a single round at the girl. The bullet tore through the back of her skull and she hit the ground fast. Now she was lying motionless, a sight Caid liked to see with vampires. He found them to be one of the more fun things to kill, since that natural hatred burned within him.
Now as for the cops, he didn't care if they found the bodies. He was always like that with his victims. The attention got from the media, the city, and people in general meant nothing. They could follow him and try to catch him all they wanted. With teleportation, he could make easy escapes. And with that thought of mind, he caught on to something else. He was no longer alone, there was someone else wandering near by. Whether or not they could see him, he wasn't sure.

( HERE'S TO YOUR )perfect weapon, crack bones , with blind aggression LIKE BIRDS WHOSE WINGS ARE BROKEN . . . . . . . . . . . . . There was something about hunting that made Hayley want to puke. It wasn’t that she didn’t like killing things that hurt other people, it was just, why would someone even make these creatures in the first place? Did those hunters have no common sense back in the day. Probably not, they were probably just thinking about themselves, and how to better the human race. They did a real nice job, Hayley thought to herself sarcastically. Hayley’s hand rested on the ground in front of her while she looked at the footprint. She wasn’t tracking the man who had been at the house she had barely grew up in, she was merely following him to make sure that he was the man he said he was. She knew she hadn’t know her father, but there was something about the man that threw her off, and she didn’t like it. Why would he come visit the house? Why did her father tell him to watch over her, why not give the man guardianship in a will or something? These were the types of questions floating in Hayley’s head. She stood up quickly, and kicked the footprint away, and began to walk back in the same direction she had come from. Her hair was tied back in the ponytail she had quickly managed to throw up before leaving her apartment. She had also just threw on some random clothes she had found on her floor.
She hadn’t had much time with cleaning up around her place much, they kept her busy at the Union. Hayley hated it, she still didn’t understand why she stayed there. She wanted to just disappear under the radar, and just become a normal person. She knew that it wouldn’t happen though, she’d be too busy wondering if her co-worker was a demon or something. This was something she grew up with, it was hard to get rid of it. As much as she wished she could’ve grown up normal, Hayley knew that she wouldn’t be who she was today without this job and life. Though she was pretty sure that she’d be a better person if she hadn’t, but she’d never know. She sighed, and started to walk across the street to the 24-hour coffee shop. She was in some serious need for some coffee to keep her going with this search.
She got her coffee five minutes later, and walked out of the shop. She had managed to hide her gun in the small of her back, and keep her stuff covered on the inside of her jacket. She sipped on her coffee while walking down the street. She walked for about twenty minutes when she finally realized where she was. This was mostly vampire territory, and she’d probably be killed on spot if noticed, and seen as a hunter. Hayley despised vampires greatly. She didn’t know why, she just did. Not EVEN two minutes later, Hayley heard a gun shot. That was odd, vampires didn’t kill with guns. Hayley ran towards the noise, but when she came upon the scene, she knew that she was too late. A male and female were dead. They both had bullet wounds the skull. Something caught her attention from the corner of her eye. She quickly moved towards it, and followed it.
Hayley stopped when she saw the shadow, and cleared her throat to talk. “”You know, it’s not very nice to go around killing people. I don’t think that you should be even in this neighborhood,

The smell of the blood was quick to reach his senses, and by now, it definitely wasn't anything new. Caid's killed numerous people in his life time. They spanned across all species and ages as well as gender. He didn't bother with picking out a certain group of people. Instead, he killed at random, and that's exactly what those two vampires were. Random victims that had no connection to him at all. It was typical of most serial killers, and Caid no plans of stopping unless someone took his life. Even if the police managed to catch him, he could easily get away and continue his killing sprees. So as Caid made his way further from the scene, there was no telling who'd be his next victim. Not even he knew, and he liked that fact. It was like reaching into box of candy without looking and taking a piece. You never knew what you'd get. One moment, he might get some woman who begged for her life. The next, he'd get a fighter.
At times, he liked to make it into his own little game. He'd stand there and observe someone for awhile. Then put things together and try to guess whether or not they'd fight back. Most of the time, he was right. He'd been around long enough to study people's behavior and get information out of it. That being said, he didn't get very far down the road before he sensed someone else near by. She was most definitely human, and when he heard her voice, he stopped where he was. Not very nice to be killing people? Ha! He made a habit out of it, and this was how he had his fun. So why would he care if it were nice or not? Standing in his place for a moment, Caid went through different options in his head. He could keep walking and ignore the human, he could approach her, or, there were a number of other options as well.
For a moment, he started walking again, knowing that she had likely seen his shadow from the streetlights. Once he speculated that his shadow was out of view, he used teleport once again to make his disappearance. However, that disappearance didn't last long. He had simply teleported himself to an area behind the huntress, keeping himself in the darkness of the shadows. "I live my life around killing people. It makes no difference to me what others think of it." He said to her. The rifle he had used earlier against the vampires was still in his grasp, and he didn't have any issues with using it against the huntress. And now as he stood in the cover of darkness, he glanced over her to search for anymore weapons. If she was a hunter like he thought, she likely had another gun or a knife hidden on her.
So after sizing up his opponent, he took a step away from the shadows and into the light of the street. "And I have no remorse for what I do." He added in. His lack of remorse for others was something he's had since he was a child. He didn't care if he harmed anyone else, and he often did too. In fact, he was still young when he took his first life. His mother covered it up though, not wanting her only child to be taken from her. Back then, it used to be that he cared for her, and only her. That since died out though. And now Caid no longer cared for anyone whatsoever. Not even himself.

Honestly, Hayley could think of many more ways to be spending her night then out here on the street, hunting some manic. She rolled her neck slightly, and sighed to herself. “I must not have a life if I keep doing this,” she thought to herself. This was the only thing she knew anymore, it consumed her life so much, she could barely hold down her actual job. It wasn’t like being a hunter paid much. Hayley looked across the street, and was tempted to just leave this creature alone, but that wouldn’t be the moral thing to do. She could hear her father’s voice, “Don’t let that monster get away. A thing that shouldn’t be alive.” Hayley often questioned WHY they decided to make them in the first place, and that often got her into trouble with both her parents, and the Union. But, Hayley had nothing better to do tonight, so why not rid the world of another terrible being. Hayley often found herself thinking that if hunters just left the beings alone, they wouldn’t hate humans so much. She had nothing against any being, well, except vampires, but she couldn’t exactly explain why. Maybe it was the thought of being like that crept her out. She wouldn’t want to live her life like that, subjected to the night. She wouldn’t mind being a shape shifter, but she knew that she would never actually become one. If she was ever to become what she hunted, she was positive that her family wouldn’t hesitate to kill her. That was the sad part about it all, friends and family were turned all the time, but no one ever hesitated to kill them. So, who where the real monsters?
The gun was low at Hayley’s side, she listened quietly for any signs on where he was. Her eyes flitted back and forth between the shadows, if only she could see better. For some reason, though she knew she should be, Hayley wasn’t scared. Well, extremely scared anyways. Her heart always thumped a little harder when she was in the dark, they always brought back memories from when she was younger. She wasn’t sure where the memories came from, but they were there, just like her recent nightmares. “Huh, I suppose that makes sense. I mean, everyone must have some sort of fucked up life, right? I guess yours was more messed up then others.
” It was easy to have a conversation with someone, especially if they seem so human, but Hayley was always telling herself they aren’t. It was hard for her, to take a life of someone who looked so human, who bled like a human, but some of, genetically, they were fucked up. Hayley heard the slight noise of him walking, she could barely just make it out. Which really sucked. She slowly turned around, her eyes moving up from his feet to the face. Again, she was shocked on how human the face was. She was always expecting some monstrous creature, but that wasn’t the case. ( Besides a vampire, but no one really likes them ). Hayley nodded her head in agreement, and said, “ Understandable. I guess if you kill people for a living you can’t have remorse, right? Hell, I could answer my own question. I DO kill people, well, creatures for a living.” Hayley moved her head to the left with an amused look on her face. “ So, tell me, what are you? You can’t be a vampire, can you?” Her voice was filled with amusement, she wasn’t being serious like she should be.
