Kit walked into the trees that started thin the quickly became so close togeather that it was very dark. But she didn't mind at all. She lsitened to Rory's words and kept her laughter insside with out showing that she was amused even the slightest bit. 'Do you sleep?' She looked at him and shook her head. "I am affraid that I am not capable of sleep, Rory," she said compleatly serrious. Of course she slept! The she looked back to where she was going and smiled a bit. If he saw then he would knnow she was messing with him.
'Well, I uh, wander around, like I was tonight, looking for something to do, someone to talk to. Sometimes I see what I can find at the ruins, but really, my life is quite boring, I do next to nothing all the time.'
So that's all he did then? Well she wasn't one to talk. She read she wandered, she stargazed, shesat in trees, so looked at flowers, talked to people, walked in the park... she did boring stuff... but she enjoied it so could it really be called boring? She didn't know but she didn't really care.

He let out a small laugh, she spoke in such a serious tone he thought that maybe she didn't sleep. But then he noticed her turn her head around and flash him a quick smile. Ah, so she did and was just messing with him. He was sure that he had only saw her smile because of his heightened senses, sine it was so dark in here. So he didn't want to let it show that he had seen it. So he acted a little confused, "whoa, what?" he said, putting a very convincing tone of shock over his voice. "Are you just messing with me?" He added, just before almost tripping on a tree root that was sticking out of the ground.
"How the hell do you walk in here without tripping on everything?" Rory asked after he tripped on some more roots and such. He rolled his eyes when he noticed that Kit hadn't tripped on anything, yet. It didn't frustrate him, or annoy him in any way. he just felt that it was unfair that he was tripping on everything and she wasn't.

As soon as he spoke she started laughing. Did he seriously buy that? Wow. "Of course I'm messing with you. All humans have to sleep." Then she added in thoughts, 'And Angels have to sleep as well.' But Rory didn't get to know that she was an angel. She was just a normal human girl to him. She steped over the roots with ease watching the ground with out making it seam like she was. After all, as a human she couldn't see well.
Shen he asked how she could walk with out tripping she shruged. "Come here alot durinf the day so you know where the roots are?" she asked. "It worked for me." Well that and she did have hightened senses. But he didn't know that. She finnaly stopped in an area that wasn't any lighter than what they had just walked through. "Alright this is one of the may places I come to to simply relax. Read a book sometimes. I know it's kinda dark to see right now but you just have to get used to it. Even with her eyesight it took a bit to ajust to the next to nothing amount of light that came from the Moon's light.

Holding back a chuckle, Rory pretended to be shocked that she was messing with him. "Hmm, you don't seem like the type to mess with people much." He raised an eyebrow, but doubted that she'd see it, especially with her human eyes. But then he realised that she had said all humans needed to sleep, he had never come across a human that referred to their own kind as what they were. It sparked a bit of curiosity in him, but then, maybe she wanted him to think that she was something other than human, since he was coming across as human and it would make her more intimidating to any normal human. But of cause he wasn't a normal human, in fact he wasn't even a human at all, no matter how much he wanted to be.
He nodded a little, he didn't really care much about the forest, or where the roots were, unless he was following someone through it in the darkness like he was now. "Thanks for the tip, not sure I'll use it any time soon thought." Well at least he was honest, right? He noticed her stop and stopped when he thought that he was close but not too close. He nodded again, "uhuh. Sounds like - uh - fun." He tried to sound somewhat interested.

Kit Shruged at his comment about not seeming to be the type to mess with people much. "Yea well I'm the kind of girl who is nice but doesn't mind messing with her friends." She smiled at him. Yes they had met maybe ten to twnty minuts ago but she was quick to consider one a friend. And he was a human so she didn't see a problem with being his friend.
She was thinking that maybe she should have said 'All people have to sleep,' rather than ' All humans have to sleep.' That might have been better considering humans didn't exactly call themselves humans all that often. But it did hapem so she could pass it off as she knew about mayber one or two other things. Maybe druids and mages. Yea... 'Human Kit' knew about druids and mages but didn't know if they needed sleep or not. Okay that worked. She hoped. but maybe he wouldn't have caught that. I mean she hadn't until it was too late but being not human it sort of slipped out of her mouth some times.
When he spoke again she laughed. "Yea I kinda figured that. You obviously don't hold interest in the forest." She shruged. "But I don't mind." A bit later he said, 'Uhuh. Sounds like - uh - fun,' after she explained where they were. She rolled her eyes. "Well I wasn't saying, 'Hope you brought a book and a light because we are reading!' Thats just what I do here sometimes. I figured that we could just hang out for a while. Just talk, you know."

Friends, was that what she considered them at the moment? Rory wasn't going to challenge it, but it wasn't what he thought of them just yet, he thought of Kit and he as more like acquaintances who were getting to know one another over a short period of time. "And that's the best way to be." He sighed a little when he finished speaking, what he'd give to be at home right now, lounging on the couch watching TV or something, maybe even in bed, sleeping. But of cause, he wasn't, he was here instead. He had to say, the night had turned into something a bit more interesting that he had thought that it would, since he had just thought that he'd be having a wander around, not seeing anyone and then heading back home. But instead he was lucky enough to run into Kit and hang around with her for the night, and he wasn't saying it was a bad thing at all, she was a nice girl and he didn't want anything bad happening to her. And he thought that his presence wouldn't do her any good.
He smiled, "you got me. I've never really cared about the forest, growing up in the city does that to you." he finished with a smile he didn't think that she would be able to see, unless of cause her eyes were excellent at adjusting, which his weren't and he was only just starting to be able to make her out well. With her next comment, he laughed. "Hanging out sounds good, I have to say."
