Ah, the lovely scenery of the old run down Red Creek Mall. Rory had gotten so much from here, truth be told he got pretty much everything he owned from Red Creek, it was just so damn convenient. An old, run down mall was perfect for a guy that just wanted to settle down, for the most part, and have a good time doing it. Some would call it stealing, but not Rory. It wasn't stealing in his opinion, it was simply making use of something that would otherwise go to waste and have a pointless life sitting in a hole.
His day had started rather simply, he woke up and lazed around all morning. Then he got changed, dressing himself in a pair of dark gray jeans and a olive green tee, slipped on some sneakers and left his little house, off to explore the world, well bridgefield, for the hundredth time. Who knows, there could be something new in town. Rory walked everywhere, he had no need for any other type of transport, he was fit and he liked to take his time with most things anyway, so a long walk somewhere was no trouble at all for him, and he actually quite enjoyed it, taking in everything around him, even if he did always seem to be the best one out there, he still had to be prepared if someone decided to jump him or something. But he didn't have to worry, he was always prepared. Except for that one time ...
Once he had gotten to the old, run-down mall, he quickly found his way in, not bothering to check if there was anyone either inside or out around watching him find his way in. He thought that he had no reason to, since he was a regular here and of cause anyone that resided around here would know not to mess with him because, well, he'd beat you up. Once in, he looked around, everything was pretty much the same as it was the last time he was in here, about a week before. He smiled at this, at least he wouldn't have to worry about things being moved around, he could just go by memory and find what he wanted. And that was, well, he didn't really want anything, he was just filling in time, and if he happened upon something of interest then bonus.
He passed a few stores, small things like shoes and other things, and then came to a large clothing store. Oh well, may as well take a look. He smirked as he noticed a few items at the front of the shop with holes in them, either from intentional damage or maybe just from age and conditions. But he knew where he was headed, the storage out the back. He weaved his way through the racks and tables and found his way to the back wall, and he found a door just behind the counter. It was locked. He sighed a little and kicked it down with a rather loud bang, if anyone was around they would have heard it without fail. He ignored that little fact and went right in, finding boxes of undamaged clothes and another small smirk found it's way to his face as he began looking through them.

I can‘t feel this love we use to hold A L L I S E E I S B L A C K and COLD There wasn’t a whole lot of explaining to do as to why Shiloh was at Red Creek Mall, it had to be obvious to anyone with a brain. She didn’t imply herself with the low lives that came here, and took things because they could, Shiloh did it because she needed things. It wasn’t like she did it for kicks, well, sometimes. She couldn’t very well go walking around in the same clothing everyday for the rest of her life, or until she got older. Shiloh needed new clothes, just like every other person in the world, but she wasn’t going waste what little money she did have on something that she could easily slip into her backpack. Plus, it’s not like anyone here would actually notice a few pairs of shorts missing, along with a pair of jeans, and some shirts. No, Shiloh was sure that these things wouldn’t be missed when she took them off the dusty shelves, and slipped them into her backpack. As of the moment, she was wearing what she had been wearing for the last two days, and she was defiantly in the mood for something else. Shiloh’s eyes shifted to the right, making sure that no one saw her slip in her new tank top, and walked out of the store with ease. Yeah, that was easy. Now, she just needed to find somewhere she could change, she sure as hell didn’t trust the bathrooms around this place. Shiloh, being the smart girl she was, decided that she would head for the back, and see if she could find some place to change there.
Of course, if she was really smart, she’d just leave, and change somewhere else. But, she was an impatient little Hunter, and wanted to feel less dirty now. Shiloh wasn’t exactly the best person cross on a normal day, seeing as though she had like five knives in places most people wouldn’t imagine a seventeen year old girl would have them. Plus, she was like a ninja, and was just that good at kicking some ass. But, Shiloh defiantly, wasn’t your typical Hunter. She was like, rouge, she was pretty sure that’s what people called it. She didn’t take her assignments from higher people, she just killed who and what she pleased. Not that those higher people could mind much because all she was doing was eliminating someone they probably wouldn’t ever know about. Shiloh didn’t actually take pride in killing other people, not like most Hunters did. She couldn’t say that she didn’t enjoy it because she did, it was one of the many things she liked. It was crazy, but she did enjoy the killing. Shiloh was pretty sure that most Hunters did, and she was pretty sure they enjoyed the screams of the beings they killed too. Either that or she was just crazy, that could be it. Shiloh liked it when the thing she was killing begged for their life, it gave her that sense of control that she liked. She only liked it because she knew that she didn’t have any real control over her actually, so to control someone else’s for a few moments was good enough for Shiloh.
Shiloh started to walk towards the back of Red Creek, towards like a storage room or something. She wasn’t really watching her surroundings, shame on her. She may not have looked like she was on alert, but her senses were open, and she had the knife in the small of her back she could get to easily if danger posed itself in front of her. Shiloh was trying to make herself be unseen by the creepy eyes, but with her flaming red hair, it wasn’t really working all too well for her because there were multiple occasions where some creeper tried to stop her and ask for something. The main thing she was defiantly not willing to give them, um hello! Shiloh had morals, and she wasn’t fixing to lose them for some guy. God, she didn’t get guys sometimes. Always desperate for a girl to give them some loving. Well, Shiloh just didn’t want to give anyone her love, why would she do that? She had more important things to be doing then soothing some guys ego. Within five minutes, Shiloh was a kicked in door. Huh, how weird. Did no one nowadays know how to pick a lock? With that thought, Shiloh entered the area slowly, looking around with caution, she didn’t want anything to pop out at her.
At that moment, Shiloh saw no one where she was, so she quickly stripped down, and changed into the clothes she had managed to sneak out of the store. That would be a pair of shorts, and a purple tank top. She shoved the other clothes into her bag, then took out her jacket, and put on top of her bag while she started to retie her shoes. That’s when she heard a noise, a very strange noise at that. So, she wasn’t alone like she had thought. She hoped that they hadn’t saw her stripping just then, that’d be bad. Shiloh, being the curious girl she was, finished retying her shoes, and walked over to investigate what the noise had been. Because Shiloh hadn’t really been taught how to distinguish the difference between what was what unless they had a mark of some sort, or it was plan obvious, so Shiloh had no idea that this boy was a possible threat to her. But, since she was always on guard, it didn’t matter if he was human or a demon. Shiloh crossed her hands over her chest, and cleared her throat, and said, ”You do know that’s considered stealing, right?”
Though the red headed girl had no room to be talking, she just wanted to see what the boy would say. [/blockquote][/blockquote] TAGGED; Rory, the amazing! LYRICS; Bury Me Alive; We Are the Fallen WORDCOUNT; 979 NOTES; muse =D <33 OUTFIT; hurrCREDIT;`` AC. at Caution 2.0!

As Rory went along, a small-ish pile was starting to take shape. And of cause this was the pile of the things that he didn't like and therefore did not want. He didn't care much for the things that he didn't like or want, so he just threw them on the dusty, dirty old floor, where they would get filthy and mostly un-wantable. He had no clue that there could have been someone else around at this stage, he had pretty much let his guard down, far too busy choosing clothes. But every now and then he would hear something, most likely a rat or something similar, and he would turn his head and look around, then going back to his 'shopping'.
Rory smirked a little when he found a nice shirt, it was black (or almost black) and had a picture of an angel, or what was supposed to look like an angel. This apparent angel was tall and had big, white wings and was looking down upon a human (well what was assumed to be a human) with a stern look, the human looked frightened, and so it should be. He threw it on the pile and continued looking as he wondered who made the shirts, with a smirk still on his face. He found a few more that were similar, and put them where he put the first, still smirking about it. He found some that he did like and stuffed them into a small bad that he had brought with him, that way it was far easier to take them home. He was almost done when he heard a voice.
Rummaging through one final box, a female's voice sounded from the doorway. He froze for a few seconds, how could he have not heard her coming? He always did. After a few seconds passed, he turned his head and gave her a good look over. "Do you?" He smirked, noticing how good her clothes looked. "C'mon, there is no way what you're wearing isn't stolen." He emphasised stolen with a smirk on his face, looking her up and down. She was pretty, well actually more than pretty she was fucking gorgeous. He assumed that she was either a hunter or something no-human, because in his experience, normal humans didn't come here, it was far too dangerous for them, especially if they didn't know the area or how to defend themselves properly.
He straightened up and took a few steps toward her. "So who and what might you be?" He asked, taking another few steps toward her, smirking like he seemed to always do. He stopped and stood there, staring at her, arms crossed and leaning to one side more that the other.

I can‘t feel this love we use to hold A L L I S E E I S B L A C K and COLD Shiloh wasn’t always this, how could she put it? It was hard to explain, but she wasn’t into stealing things. She just took what she needed to survive, and well, clothes were one of those things, and she wasn’t going to die because she was being stupid. Though she couldn’t really help but be a little stupid when it came to certain things. Like guys, she was so clueless, it was a surprise she hadn’t been taken advantage of yet. Shiloh was sure that it was coming soon, that’d she be really stupid, and think that a guy was cool, and WHAM! She’d be screwed! That’s why she was determined not to let anyone in, it didn’t matter who they were. They could be the King of whatever land, and she wouldn’t let him anywhere near her! She was focused on keeping her promise to herself and her family, the promise that she would kill any demon she met. It didn’t matter if the demon was good, that was impossible. Demon’s weren’t good things, they were evil, and needed to be killed. It wasn’t her fault that they killed her parents, or that she was raised to WANT to kill them. Shiloh, in all honest truth, loved killing things. It sounded bad, but it was true. She liked killing things, it brought her pleasure. As odd as that is, not a lot of teenagers would say something like that, but she wasn’t a normal teenager.
Shiloh wasn’t going to lie, she thought she looked pretty good in this outfit. Not that she was being shallow, there were just something’s people couldn’t deny, and this was one of those things. The shirt hit her curves in the right places, and she just liked shorts in general. She was weird like that, but she didn’t mind. She found that tank tops and shorts were easier to move in, though she couldn’t hide knives as easily with shorts on, but Shiloh sure tried. A lot of hunter’s didn’t understand why she liked knives so much, they really didn’t do a whole lot to a vampire and stuff. Shiloh didn’t like guns because, well, they required money spending, and money wasn’t something Shiloh had. If she did, she’d be caring a gun along with her knives. Shiloh didn’t find it very odd that someone else was in the back room with her, but she did find it odd that he seemed to think she was something else other then what she was. She wasn’t going to tell him! Or was she? Shiloh didn’t really know if she could trust him with that information or not. Probably not.
Shiloh enjoyed watching the boy freeze, so she had caught him off guard. Tisk tisk, people should always keep their guard up, especially when their backs are turned. Shiloh shrugged, and said, ”It’s very possible, but I don’t.”
Boys, when will they ever learn? Never, that’s what Shiloh thought. They would never learn how to control their little urges, and that just made Shiloh laugh. She did laugh at his next words, he thought he was so cool, didn’t he? Well, he wasn’t. Though Shiloh did have to admit that he was pretty cute, well, a little more then that. Shiloh never really thought of guys in that way, especially ones she didn’t know. God, her head was gonna explode if any thing else happened to her. She wasn’t liking this whole thing. ”Please, you think someone like me is gonna steal? Hell yes I am. I do have to survive though, I’m going to save the human race,” Shiloh snorted at her words. She wasn’t going to save the human race. Shiloh watched as he moved forward, and when he did that, she moved backwards. Instinctively of course. It was like when someone flinched away from something flying towards them. When she moved back, her hand went towards the small of her back, but dropped her hand when he started talking with a smirk on his face. Oh, how she would like to smack it off his face, she wasn’t liking the smirk. ”I’m someone that you probably shouldn’t mess with there buddy. And as for what I am, you know exactly what I am, I’m just like everyone else. With a few twist and turns thrown in there,” nothing like avoiding the question. Shiloh stretched a little, then said, ”Who and what are you? I assume you aren’t like me if you are asking what I am. So, you are probably someone that shouldn’t actually be here. Here meaning, like this world. You should probably be back where ever the hell you came from, though I can’t deny that you have a pretty little face,” Shiloh stated while moving forward. She couldn’t help, but play the game with him. There was something about this guy that Shiloh found attractive. Maybe it was his boldness, or his amazing looks. Shiloh knew that she shouldn’t even be getting involved with someone like him, though she didn’t know what he was. But he was asking what she was, which meant that he was something other then what she was. She got that much out of the very little words they had spoken to each other. ”But, I guess I could spare you my name, so when and if I ever kill you, you know whose name to say when begging to live,” she smiled a kind, and sarcastic smile at him. ”Shiloh,” she stuck her hand out for him to shake. The red-headed girl couldn’t believe she was doing this right now. She shouldn’t be having a conversation with him. [/blockquote][/blockquote] TAGGED; Rory, the amazing! He could not believe that this tiny, non-dangerous looking human had caught him off guard. He knew that it was a once in a lifetime thing and was determined for it not to happen again, especially from humans. He would assure that it would not happen again. Rory couldn't help but look at her though, she was gorgeous and, well, he liked what he saw, and who in their right mind wouldn't. He could have laughed, really? She was going to what? Save the human race, good luck to her. "So, you're gonna save us eh? Good luck." He gave another smirk, but it was more of a holding back laughter to be somewhat polite instead of being a jerk. Over the many years that he had been alive, he had learned what to and what not to say when it came to lying about being human. In his opinion, he had to just be as human as possible, and had a pretty darn good idea on what being human was like, he had done it for over seventeen years.
Rory was rather quite curious about this red-haired girl. She seemed to have a very talented mouth for avoiding the question. He wasn't stupid and he was listening to what she was saying, he was curious and wanted to know all that he could about her. He took another few steps toward her, so he was within an arm's reach of her. He smiled, a more kindhearted smile than he had before, "way to avoid the question girlie." He scratched his head and continued, "but I am like you, considering that you just asked me what I am. But if you must know, I am just like you, in a way. Minus the body count. That is, if you are what I assume you are." And of cause he assumed that she was either a hunter, or a very knowledgeable human. "Pretty? I muse protest on that part. Not pretty, more something like outrageously gorgeous. But you on the other hand, pretty might just fit perfectly in with you and your little face." A flirtatious smile crept to his lips, this was fun.
A frown crept to his face for a brief few seconds, he was starting to think that this one tiny, fiery-haired girl knew more that he had assumed at first. "Ah, but if you killed me it would be murder more-so that anything else." He gave her a half-hearted smile, and extended his hand out and grabbed hers, shaking it gently before letting it go and speaking. "I have to say, Shiloh, that is a beautiful name." He was a little hesitant on giving his name, but he always was, and if he ever did, he would only give his first, he was always far to afraid that someone would know his last name, even though it is the name of the humans that raised him. "Rory." He stated bluntly, deciding that it was only polite of him to return the favor. He smiled gently as he put his hands in his pocket and waited for her to say something.

I can‘t feel this love we use to hold A L L I S E E I S B L A C K and COLD Shiloh couldn’t believe that she had actually manage to catch this guy off guard, it made her laugh. On the inside of course, she wasn’t really going to laugh at him. There was telling what he was, or what he could do to her. She was really trying to bite back her smart ass comments, and she surprisingly she was doing a bang up job. She managed to stand there, and listen to what he was saying to her. She rolled her eyes, and tucked back a loose piece of red hair behind her ear. Shiloh snorted at his statement, he did not fit into the human race. Shiloh knew that much. ”I’m not saving you, why would I? I kill your kind,”
she said bluntly. Well, there was no slip around with her. She said like she saw it, and she knew that he wasn’t a human. ”But I’ll be sure to go out with a bang when I do,” she told him. Shiloh wasn’t liking the little smirk he had on his face, so she decided that she would tell him, ”If you’re going to laugh then laugh, or I’ll smack that smirk right off your face.” She wasn’t normally this sociable with someone of another species, but she felt compelled to talk to this guy. Shiloh didn’t know what it was. She didn’t know if it was like destiny telling her she had to do this or she would screw up everything they had planned for her. Maybe if she didn’t talk to him, she would die some horrible death. Shiloh didn’t know, but she hoped it wasn’t a horrible death from him. Though she’d rather die at the hands of a good-looking guy then a fat guy or a vampire. Shiloh shuddered at the thought of getting killed by a vampire, that was something she never wanted to go through. So, Shiloh was not just good at fighting, she was good at avoiding questions. Something she had been taught when she was younger. Now it was her turn to smirk at him. ”Oh, I’m sure you’re just like me, minus the fact that I don’t kill people for fun. I’m sure you’ve done your fair share of killing people for pleasure if you are what I think you are,” she replied right back to him. Shiloh couldn’t contain her laughter when he stated, ”Pretty? I muse protest on that part. Not pretty, more something like outrageously gorgeous But you on the other hand, pretty might just fit perfectly with you and your little face.” Wow, talk about self absorbed. Shiloh raised her brows at him, and said, ”Really? You must think highly of yourself then because I only see pretty. Maybe hot, but not outrageously gorgeous. I defiantly wouldn’t go that far.” Ugh, he was flirting with her, and surprisingly, it was working. She felt his charms, and she wanted to be swept in. She couldn’t have this, no! She was a hunter, she wasn’t allowed to be swept in by some other thing! Shiloh shrugged, and said, ”Nah, it’s not murder. I consider it justice since your kind killed my parents.” It was true, demons killed her parents. Shiloh knew though that they died for a good cause. She may not have known it then, but she does now, and she would gladly do the same. Shiloh looked down at their hands interlocked, then looked back up at him. When he let go of her hand, she felt a slight tingle, but she figured it was from the cold air or something. Shiloh rolled her eyes, and said, ”Please, don’t flatter yourself in trying to flirt with me or something because it’s not going to work. So, cut the crap.” She saw the way he hesitated when he said his name. Ah, so he was nervous? Good, he should be. She gave him a crooked smile, it was the best she could do for a smile. ”So, what’d you get out the pile? Or should I even ask?” [/blockquote][/blockquote] TAGGED; Rory, the amazing! He was rather shocked, from what he had heard from her so far, she knew that he as not human, and once that was figured, there wasn't much difficulty figuring out what he was after that, since there were only three races that didn't have a funny mark on their neck. Once human was out of the question, there was only two more left, a fifty-fifty chance on getting it right, and Rory was sure that she would have it figured in no time, if she hadn't already. It wasn't like he was completely lying when he said 'us' meaning the human race, he had thought of himself as one for over seventeen years of his life. It was only when that stupid woman told him that he was what he was that he began thinking different, if he had his way, he would be dead and gone like the rest of his human family. He would have grown old, had a family and died of old age. A bit of seriousness with a little added sadness showed itself in his tone as he spoke, "my kind." He said it softly, but was sure that she would have heard it. It wasn't a question, but more of a statement, or a reminder to himself that he wasn't what he wished he was, and what he wanted would never happen. "And what would my kind be?" He said this with the smart-ass tone that he used all too often, he wanted to know if she had it all figured or not. Oh god he hoped that she didn't.
"Then smack it right off my face then. It's not like it'll matter, since, you know, you kill my kind." He emphasised the word kill, it did annoy him that all the hunters that he had ever met all assumed that all demons were the same, and not even consider that they were like humans in many ways, and mainly in the part where they choose what they do and where they go, and if the killed or not. He had it figure that she was a hunter as soon as she started with saying that he shouldn't be here in this world. It hurt him a little when hunters did this, poked at him like he was just like all the murderous demons, like the ones that did kill all the time and just caused far too much trouble for their own good. Sometimes, and only sometimes, it made him wish that he was like that so he could kill the hunter and get on with his life. But he did not want to kill anyone, ever.
The next comment that came from Shiloh's mouth got to him, really. If he was a dog, he would have burred up, growled and maybe even gone in for the bite. But no, he was just a demon, no hissing or growling here. He looked her right in the eye, his expression had changed and now he looked a slight bit pissed off, which he was. "I've never killed anyone, and I never will. You think if I had a choice that I'd be like this, seriously? You hunters are so fucking thick!" He changed his stance so that he could run if he had to, she was a hunter after all and maybe after hearing that she could decide to kill him, because he did pretty much confess that he wasn't human. Rory put his face in his hand for a brief few seconds and cursed into them as he did so, "shit" was all that he said, it was fairly mumbled so Shiloh shouldn't have heard it. "And for you're information, I was always human, even if technically I never was. I hate it just as much as you hate it, I wish I was more like you and your kind." He had toned down a little, before he was almost yelling, but now he was just talking in a quieter yelling voice.
Was he actually getting to her? Was his flirting working on a hunter? Oh the joys of it all. "Oh, I think you already are." He spoke with a flirtatious smile stuck to his face. And then again with the serious face, "again with my kind." He rolled his eyes and looked away so she couldn't see the sad look on his face. It was soon gone and he looked back almost right away. "Coulda fooled me, I think it just might be working, just a little." He smirked, but it quickly turned into a flirtatious smile and he flashed it right at her. Rory glanced down at the pile that he had made and the box that he was yet to go through. "Nothing spectacular, just a few tees and, uh that's about it." He ran a hand through his fair as he spoke, looking back up at Shiloh when he had finished speaking.

I can‘t feel this love we use to hold A L L I S E E I S B L A C K and COLD Shiloh wasn’t entirely stupid sometimes, not to say that she couldn’t be stupid at times. One of her more stupider moments sort of played into right now. She was continuing to stand there and talk to a demon. From the time she could walk, it was drilled into that everything that wasn’t like her was evil. Give or take a species. Shiloh knew that not everyone of these creatures were evil though, she’d seen the kindness of a Druid, though of course not all them were like that. And honestly, why would they be? Look at what Hunters had done to them, they made them into something like a monster. And when the Hunter’s couldn’t control them all, they decided that they should be hunted down like animals. Shiloh didn’t agree with that. She believed that it was the actions of someone that dictated whether they were evil or not, but with demons, it was a completely different story. They killed her parents, why wouldn’t they be evil? Shiloh didn’t know anything else, and well, she didn’t really want to test that theory. She looked at him when he spoke softly. She couldn’t help but feel a little guilty. ”Demons,”
she said quietly. Shiloh knew that by his voice he was probably irritated with her, and didn’t want her there anymore. Hell, she didn’t even want to be there anymore. Shiloh whipped her head up so fast, she thought her head was going to spin off. She glared at him, her itching to reach up and smack him. She really shouldn’t smack him, it wouldn’t be very nice, but she wasn’t in the mood to be a nice girl. Shiloh raised her hand fast, and slapped his cheek hard. ”Need I remind you that, one, I am still a girl, and you’ll treat me with respect. Two, I am still a hunter, and can kill you,” she told him after drawing her hand back. Her eyes, she was sure of, were filled with hate for this guy. She didn’t even know him, and knew that she wasn’t going to like him. She couldn’t place exactly what was holding her back from just killing him. Shiloh had dealt with angry Hunters, Vampires, and Angels, but never in her life had she dealt with an angry Demon, and quite frankly it wasn’t fun. That didn’t mean Shiloh was going to back down though, she gave him a cold glare. ”Well, maybe you should blame your kind for the assumptions we have to make to survive. I’m surprised with how stupid the human race is, that we haven’t been wiped out. Trust me, you do not want to be human, Shiloh didn’t even like being human. Well, she did, but there was so much she couldn’t do. She preferred to save her race, but with the way things were going, she wasn’t seeing this happening anytime soon. She had seen the stupidity of her race, and feared that they would be a very rare species indeed. Shiloh scoffed, and said, ”So, you’re like a Demon with a soul? That is defiantly a first for me.” Shiloh crossed her arms over her chest, and sighed loudly. What the hell had she gotten herself into? If another Hunter found out that she didn’t kill a Demon, she was going to get bitched at. Probably not even that, she never knew of a Hunter who had crossed them before, and didn’t know what they would do to her if they ever found out. At least she wasn’t falling in love with him. That would be weird. She had never heard of that either. She had heard of them falling in love with Angels, Shifters, and those species, but never a Demon. Shiloh didn’t even know that they were capable of feeling feelings, but now she knew that could. Unless this guy was faking, but Shiloh didn’t think so. Shiloh looked at him, even if he was flirting with her, she didn’t know what to do. Guys and feelings just didn’t go with her. When it came to guys romantically, Shiloh didn’t know what to do. She scoffed, and said, ”I think not. Maybe she should apologize? No, no! She didn’t say sorry to Demons. What the hell was going through her mind? Saying sorry to a Demon, what the hell Shiloh, what the hell? She shook away her thoughts, then looked at him with a are-you-serious- look. ”No, you are not. Ah! Yes, yes he was, but Shiloh was going to say that out loud. It’s probably what he wanted, to get her guard down, and make her feel sorry for him. Shiloh’s eyes shifted towards the door. Well, she couldn’t very well leave her clothing here, along with her knives. ”This place doesn’t have a lot of options, and if you’ll excuse me for like two minutes,” she said turning around to go get her stuff. Shiloh jogged to were she left her backpack, and slipped it on over her shoulder, and held her jacket. She walked back over to Rory, debating on just taking off out the door, but she decided what the hell? He seemed harmless, but that didn’t mean she was going to let her guard down around him. ”Sorry, I had to grab my stuff before someone saw the broken door, and took my backpack,” she told him. She set her bag down, laid out her jacket, and sat down on it. She let a sigh, and yawned. Shiloh reached around to the small of her back, and took out the small knife she had placed back there before she had come over, and set it next to her, then stretched out on her jacket. ”So, uh, have a seat if you want. Tell me, how old are you?” [/blockquote][/blockquote] TAGGED; Rory, the amazing! <3 LYRICS; Bury Me Alive; We Are the Fallen WORDCOUNT;968 NOTES; omg! my muse has returned to me! All the hunters that Rory had came across in the past, that knew what he was, had tried to kill him by now, or at least acted like it. Shiloh was different, well she seemed that was. But for all he knew she was just putting on an act to get closer to him so she could kill him with much less effort. This was not the vibe he got from her though, it was something much different, and it was because of this vibe, this feeling that she was not like other hunters, that had made him not take off yet and stay and chat, be abused and talked down to. As soon as he heard her correctly identify what he was he sighed softly and looked at the ground. He should have ran away, but that was so unlike him, he never ran away from anything, unless it was shooting at him or in the process of trying to kill him.
He had expected the hit as soon as she had said that she would like to slap him, he could see it in her eyes, there was a lot of hate directed toward him in them, this hate made him a little sad, but it was nothing that he could not handle. One thing he had not expected was the force that was behind it, it stung a lot, like she had really put some effort into it. As soon as the impact happened, his face screwed up a little and moved to the side. he brought his hand up to the side that was hit and glanced away. He swallowed before he looked back at her, while she was practically yelling at him. "Yeah, okay. And you know that I could kill you too." The anger smothered his voice as he spoke to her, he wasn't yelling, he was speaking at a normal volume. "And would you really kill me? Honestly." Rory quickly looked away, he was swimming in dangerous waters now, he knew it. But he didn't want to ruin anything that she thought of him already, if she thought any good of him at all, he didn't want her to reconsider those thoughts.
He made an unimpressed noise at her next comment, even though he knew it was true. "Maybe i already do." he stated. "But maybe you should consider the things that humans, hunters, have done to us to make them like that?" He sighed a little before continuing, "and being human would be better than this." He more mumbled that bit than actually spoke. he wished he was human, if he was he would have been dead by now, not having to worry about what was going on now, would have never had the trouble of hunters and other demons wanting him to be more like them. He hated it, it was like torture, but there were some bonuses, but they weren't enough to make up for all the downsides.
"This is a first for me too, a hunter that hasn't tried to kill me, yet." he gave off a small smile, he appreciated it really, that she hadn't tried it and he hoped that she wouldn't later on either. He had faith in her not to, kind of. He sighed a little and glanced around again, mainly to make sure there wasn't someone else lurking around, listening to them or planning a way to attack them both. it was something that he did quite a bit. Rory didn't know why, but he felt safe for the most part with her, at the moment. He didn't want that to change, he liked it, he never felt safe.
He had to laugh. She was denying it, but he could see it all too well. "Deny it all you like, I can see that it is." A smirk came to his face, but then he remembered the way Shiloh felt about his smirks and he quickly made it disappear and replaced it with a flirtatious smile that he was so good at. He was slightly shocked when she went away, and he sort of thought that she wouldn't be back. But she was, to his delight. He had no idea why he was happy that she had come back, it wasn't like him to think like that, or feel or whatever it was. he gave her a smile when she came back and he watched her sit down and invite him to sit with her. Rory was a fairly cautious guy, so in this situation he put that into action. He stepped slowly toward her and sat across from her, knees up near his face. He rested his chin on the top of them and looked towards Shiloh. "Umm." He thought about it, he didn't really think about his age all that much, but he always knew how old he was, he just had to add things up sometimes. "a hundred and thirty something, five or six." Okay so maybe he didn't know the exact, he lost count a while age, but always had a general idea. He flashed her a quick smile, then went back to a straight, boring look.

I can‘t feel this love we use to hold A L L I S E E I S B L A C K and COLD Most of the time, if she was in her right mind, Shiloh would’ve killed him by now. She didn’t know what was stopping her from just killing him now. She didn’t know if it was because she had actually talked to him, and had a descent conversation with him, or because he was truly different from any demon she had encountered before. Rory wasn’t like most, they usually attacked within the moment they knew a hunter was in the room. Shiloh didn’t want to kill Rory, he seemed like he was a descent guy, he said he had never killed anyone, but that doesn’t make it true. Shiloh definatly couldn’t say the same for herself. She didn’t know how many things she’s killed. She did feel guilty about doing it sometimes, but she had always been told, “It’s for the greater good, Shiloh.” She believed it too, but now, she wasn’t so sure what to believe. Of course, she still had a strong hate for demons, who wouldn’t if they killed your parents?
Of course Shiloh was going to slap him. She said that she would, and when she said she was going to do something, she does it. When she drew her hand back, she had the sting of when she slapped him on her hand. Shiloh closed her hand into a fist, and bit back a ‘sorry.’ Her head was bent down, but she looked up at him when he said, ”Yeah, okay. And you know that I could kill you too.”
Shiloh looked away with an angry look. She knew very well what he could do, she wasn’t stupid. Which is why she didn’t know why she was still talking to him like they had been long time friends or something. Shiloh curled her fists into a ball, and kept her head down. She had a angry smirk on her face when he said, ”And would you really kill me? Honestly.” She looked up at him, the smirk still on her face, and said, ”Do you really want me to answer that question?” In truth, she probably wouldn’t kill him, but she wanted to make sure that he knew who he was messing with. She wasn’t some little girl playing around, no, she meant business. Shiloh snorted, yeah, sure hunters and humans did things, but what did they honestly do to deserve a swarm of evil beings attacking them, and killing them off? Shiloh shrugged, she couldn’t take back what humans before her did, all she knew was that she had to do what she had to do to survive. It wasn’t exactly a choice she had growing up. ”Yeah, well we’re at the bottom of the food chain, and I don’t see us moving up anytime soon,” she told him. It was the truth, humans were stupid, well the ones that kept letting people take advantage of them. There were some humans, like herself, that were intelligent. Shiloh knew she wasn’t a genius or anything like that, but she was smarter then most humans nowadays. Shiloh gave him a small smile, and said, ”I suppose there’s a first time for everything. Maybe we beat the odds or something.” It shocked her that she could have such a descent conversation with a demon, she honestly didn’t think they were capable of not killing on spot. Unless they were the type to torture first, which she had met her fair share of those demons. Shiloh didn’t like them, they scared her just a little. Especially when they decided that they wanted to torture her, it wasn’t fun. Shiloh could feel herself kind of relaxing around him, which was another surprise. She was rarely comfortable around people, especially ones she had just met, and demons. Shiloh knew in the back of her brain that she could sort of trust him not to kill her. If he did, well, that was her fault then. Shiloh crossed her arms over her chest, and growled lightly. She glared at him lightly, then said, ”I have nothing more to say on this, you and your flirting will not bother me.” When she had come back from getting her backpack, she could see that he was somewhat shocked that she had actually came back. Well, he wasn’t the only one. She didn’t know why she came back. Shiloh felt some sort of comfort around him. She didn’t know what it was, but she liked it. He was easy to talk too, which was good. Shiloh needed someone to talk to, and if that was him, then she was okay with that. When she sat down, she saw him sit down, and smiled. ”Damn, that’s old. Pretty sure my life span won’t be as lucky as yours. I’m surprised I’m still alive actually,” she told him sitting up, and looked at him. She brought her legs up to the chin, and smiled slightly. ”You have a nice smile, it’s a lot better then your smirk,” she said quietly. Shiloh felt a blush creep up to her cheeks, and she hid her face in her arms.
