Evony had been wandering around the hell hole town she lived in searching for something. She didn't know what, she just knew what mood she was in, and it wasn't a good one. Thankfully, she had fed before she had wandered out into the darkness of the night, and all she saw was... nobody. Silence was everywhere, and everyone she "knew" was asleep; given, she didn't know many humans, because of her fetish for blood, but there was still the occasional human that popped up into her life.
She had found herself in a new place. She didn't know quite where it was, but she knew that it was colder than the city. She looked around, her eyes quickly adjusting to the light difference, and saw that there was a large lake. She was at the lakeshore, and from what she saw, she was alone. Not even people who owned cottages on the beach were out at this time. Given it was probably quite late, nearing if not passed midnight.
Evony looked around once more, and then decided to walk along the shoreline, and listen to the waves lap against the shore. It would help her calm herself, and it would keep people safe. Evony growled when she saw someone standing yards away from her, just a shadowy blackness against the little sliver of moonlight.

With a quick glance, Shiloh unlocked the door to an empty cottage by the lakeshore, and threw her stuff down on the floor. She wasn’t going to be here long, just long enough to rest up, and of course, fuel up on whatever food she could find. She was realizing that it was difficult being a rouge hunter, especially at her age, it was most difficult because most adults thought that she was just a child, and couldn’t handle herself. Well, she was pretty sure that she was proving all of those people wrong. Shiloh had managed to survive this long without anyone helping her out. Granted, she did have amazing skills at breaking into peoples houses and stealing their food. It wasn’t a big deal really, she didn’t take any of their valuables or anything like that. She was a better person then that for sure, she didn’t need material items to keep her happy. All she needed was her knives, and her amazing skills. Oh, and her thirst for justice on any creature that disturbed her, or she just didn’t like period. It was only logical that she kill them, and in truth, Shiloh kind of liked killing things. It was sort of fun, but that made her sound crazy. She wasn’t crazy, at least not really crazy. Everyone was crazy at some point in their life. Shiloh walked over to the bathroom, evaluated it quickly, then grabbed her bag for a nice shower. It took her all of twenty minutes to shower, and then she was changed into a black tank top, and shorts with her necklace.
Shiloh was planning on taking a nice nap, but she decided that she would go outside, it seemed like a nice night to walk around. Plus, she wanted to get a good look around, and see what was around the place. She wasn’t use to this lake, so she might as well get a good look at it. The lakeshore seemed really pretty, especially at night, were you could see the glittering of the moon, and ripples of the water. Shiloh had always had a fascination with water and the night. The night time was usually when she traveled, but she was just too tired. She hadn’t rested in a few days, and well, she needed to stop. The night gave her the cover she needed. Especially if she had to, kill. Getting up from the little chair, Shiloh put two knives in the small part of her back, and one strapped to the side of her thigh. She wasn’t expecting trouble, but she didn’t want to go out there without something to throw. She would never know if something was out there lurking. She slipped on her shoes, and walked out the door, keeping to the shadows. She had her fiery red hair tied up in a short pony tail to keep it out of her face. Shiloh glanced around, watching for anything to pop out at her.
She walked a paces, being cautious, then decided that there wasn’t an immediate threat to her, and lowered her knife back into the sheath on her thigh, and walked slowly around the lakeshore. As she was walking, she noticed a shimmer of silver. Wait, it wasn’t silver, it seemed that it was blonde. This person was a view yards away from Shiloh, but she went on guard quickly. She went into the shadows so she wouldn’t be seen as easily, but she didn’t pull her knife out. For all she knew, it could be a normal person, but she wasn’t thinking that this was so. Most of the people around here were sleeping, Shiloh made sure because she hadn’t wanted anyone to see her going into a cottage that wasn’t hers. Shiloh slowly removed the knife from the sheath, and moved closer, making sure the knife was somewhat hidden from the person’s view. ”Who’s there?”

Evony had saw the shadow, and had watched it go into the best hiding it could muster. She watched the color of its hair, realizing it was a bright red. She gasped. It was human. She could smell the scent of its blood. It smelled strong, stronger than a normal humans. Maybe it was a druid, or a mage, but they had a particularly tangy scent. She didn't know who was standing out there, but she knew that it could be dangerous, or it could be extra food.
"Who's there?" It yelled out. Evony listened to the voice play back in her head a bit, and realized a few things. A) It was in fact, human; B) It probably was a hunter, most normal humans would be far to scared to even ask who was there; C) Evony wasn't worried. She was used to fighting off people, and she knew her way around the human body quite well, she knew almost exact pressure points that she could press to make the human collapse and feel nothing. No excruciating pain to have them scream at, just nightmares of the bright green eyed vampire that is draining them of the life fluid. Evony contemplated yelling out something, or staying silent and stalking the human. Either that, or she could wail, and deafen the poor human, and put it through excruciating pain before she killed it. There were many options here.
Evony moved a bit closer to the human. She looked from side to side, to make sure that no other humans were around. She felt the nape of her neck, where her mark was. She knew it rose a bit above her skin, but it carried the skin with it, making it seem as though there were tiny valley's on her neck. She realized that there were always times that she made the wrong decision, and she knew that sometimes she just had to fight it. She knew she would never do good, too many times had she been screwed over, too many times she had lost all her hopes and dreams.
"I'm here." She yelled out. Mind games. That's what she would play, and she hoped she could be damn well good enough at them to confuse the human she was facing. She moved a bit closer, and the aroma it carried grew stronger, and it almost made Evony throw up. She could really smell the tang of the metal she was carrying. She could see the flicker of a knife as the human pulled it out. Evony scoffed. A knife wouldn't do much against her, and she could easily deflect it without taking much damage. It wouldn't matter to her what the human tried, she hoped the human knew it would get hurt if it tried attacking her. "And you don't know who I am." She giggled all while saying this. She was having fun, messing around with a silly human who didn't have any clue what she was getting into. It made Evony quite happy.

Shiloh could tell this was going to be trouble, she didn’t have to be smart to realize that something was amiss with this whole situation. This was no human, unless the person was a Druid or Mage, but Shiloh was in great doubt that they were either. There were a few things Shiloh could guess, either a) Angel b) Demon or c) something that the hunter’s created when they wanted to shrike back. She was thinking that it was with b or c, she was really hoping it neither, but knowing her luck, it was the worst of the worst. Shiloh, being the smart girl she was, took a step back. She knew when to advance on someone, and this was not the way to do it. She had to be sneaky about it, she needed to move around the person, without being obvious of course. Thank God for training classes, right? Though most of those classes didn’t actually prepare people for the real fights, they certainly did help though. Especially with cases like this where you had to out smart your opponent, and make sure the were obvious to what you were doing. Shiloh had to keep this chick talking, and attention averted else where. Shiloh knew it wouldn’t be easy, not if it was a demon, or angel for sure. Or anything else for that matter. Nothing was ever easy for a human, not when these other creatures had so much more on her, like strength, speed, and things like that.
Maybe, just maybe the person or thing wouldn’t attack her. Maybe they were the more peaceful type, Shiloh never killed ones like that unless they’ve killed humans or innocent people. Demons, if it was a demon, Shiloh would probably end up killing it. They were just pure evil, and wouldn’t let something so foul roam the earth, not as long as she was breathing. Shiloh took a slow step to her right, not wanting to make an sort of noise. Good thing for being stealthy, or Shiloh would be dead by now, probably a long time ago really. Shiloh could tell, she could just tell by how quiet the person was that they knew what she was. Defiantly wasn’t human, Damnit! She could never catch a break, no matter how hard she wished she could, she knew that that would probably never happen in her lifetime, not with all the violence that goes on nowadays. She was always going to have to be on her guard, but she was use to that. It’s how she was raised to think and act. She wasn’t raised to think that everyone was going to be her friend, or that maybe they’d be friendly to her. No, she was raised to think that everyone was her enemy, and that she should stand prepared to kill someone if they pose that threat to her or anyone else.
Shiloh heard two words come out from this person’s mouth, and they were ”I’m here.
Shiloh had a smart comment on the tip of her tongue, but she chose to bit her tongue instead, and kept moving to the right. From the voice, Shiloh could tell that it was a female, probably a bitter one at that. Shiloh rolled her eyes at the next words out of her mouth, ”And you don’t know who I a,.” Gee, Shiloh would have never guessed that. ”Maybe you should tell me what you are, and we can go from there.” She was being nice to say the least. Most times she probably would have made a move, but seeing as though she didn’t know what this chick was, she wasn’t going to do that. ”You, scratch that. Why don’t you step out a little there, and show me what you look like. I bet I could guess then,” Shiloh scuffed. She didn’t want to get smart, but sometimes she just had the urge to do it. Shiloh made herself move visible, but not enough to make herself vulnerable. ” It’s obvious you probably know what I am if you aren’t human, and it’s obvious you aren’t. What are you? A Demon? Angel? Nah, you aren’t an Angel, they’re much prettier and less rude,” Shiloh smiled at the girl with a rude smile. Oh how she loved to be rude to such creatures. Shiloh shrugged indifferently, and squinted at the girl. ”You’re probably a shape shifter, or a creature of the night. I do find it odd that anyone else would be out this late.” [/blockquote][/blockquote] ATTIRE

”Maybe you should tell me what you are, and we can go from there.” Evony heard it yell out. She ignored it and watched it try to snake around her. It's sneaking skills were the lowest of low. They sucked, she could've jumped out and attacked right away, but she wanted to play with its mind, she wanted it to know that she was superior. ”You, scratch that. Why don’t you step out a little there, and show me what you look like. I bet I could guess then,” It said. Evony giggled at it; how stupid did it think she was. She was glad she thought of not calling it a her, that would be demeaning to most hers. It's sarcasm needed quite a bit of work. ”It’s obvious you probably know what I am if you aren’t human, and it’s obvious you aren’t. What are you? A Demon? Angel? Nah, you aren’t an Angel, they’re much prettier and less rude,” It thought it was smart! Evony saw it smirk. She giggled again, this time a bit louder. It wasn't making her mad, it wasn't that smart. Evony didn't want a fight, but if she had to, she would fight. ”You’re probably a shape shifter, or a creature of the night. I do find it odd that anyone else would be out this late.” Evony glared at her. She contemplated replying right away, or playing games with the little humans head. Evony was much older, and stronger, than many vampires out here, and she wasn't about ready to take shit from anyone.
"I'm something, that's for sure." She said, a huge smile on her face. She wasn't about ready to just hand over what she is, and how she is. She wanted to play with the human, she wanted to play games. It was getting aggravated, Evony could tell, from how rude it was getting. It wasn't as smart as Evony had hopes for, but you know, that's all you can hope for is that something will have some smarts, so as that Evony could scare it enough to make it cry. When Evony got pissed enough, she went mad for a bit, and right now, she thought crying was music. "I'm something, and you have to guess what!" She giggled with her next words. They seemed crazed, she wanted the human to think that she was. "Try to guess!" Evony didn't know what she was saying now. She was babbling, trying to confuse the human. "Or if you can't, I'll have to kill you!" Giggling.

Now, Shiloh knew she wasn’t the best when it came to sneaking around…when it came to other creatures, such as vampires, demons, angels, and shifters. When it came to druids, mages, and humans, Shiloh could sneak all she wanted. Something was telling Shiloh that this girl wasn’t someone she could sneak by, so she decided that it was time to turn this little episode around. Shiloh stopped where she was, and came out into full view, though she was still yards away from the other person, if it was another creature she was sure that it would see her. When she stepped out, she could barely make out a form, but what she could tell was that it was a blonde girl, and that she was sort of tall. She might have a reach advantage on Shiloh, and possibly strength. Yeah, this creature probably had everything better then Shiloh herself, but all Shiloh could do was die trying, but she really hoped it wouldn’t come to that because actually liked living. No matter how sucky it might be, she enjoyed having a laugh and a smile every now and a again. Shiloh could hear the quiet giggles from the creature, and she knew then that it was trying to play her. She wasn’t going to let this thing play games with her, Shiloh had no desire for that, and would give hell to anyone who tried to play her. She just wanted the fight to be done and over with, she was tired and not in the mood for stupid mind games from something that shouldn’t even be living.
After Shiloh’s little comment, she didn’t hear the smart ass snicker from the girl. Oh, had she hit a nerve? Shiloh smirked to herself, and knew that she was on the right track. ”Oh, I’m sure you are something. Something ugly on the inside. You know, I almost thought you were a demon for a second, but even they are prettier then vampires in their true form. Vampires,”
Shiloh paused for a moment, letting her words hang in the air, then continued, ”are disgusting creatures, and Hunter’s should’ve known not to make such terrible things.” Shiloh spoke the truth about that, she despised vampires, they were disgusting, and they should of never been made. Shiloh rolled her brown eyes at the girls babbling, this was sooooo pointless, and Shiloh could be doing so many more important things with her life then waste it on one vampire. ”You are an ugly, disgusting vampire, and you aren’t going to kill me. You may be faster, stronger, and been alive longer, but you ain’t got nothing on me,” Shiloh spit out at the girl. Shiloh sighed with boredom, this was tiring, and she needed some sleep. ”Your constant talk is boring me, I’m in need of some sleep, and all you can do is talk about nothing. How lame. They told us that vampires were dangerous. I don’t see anything dangerous about you.” It was true. Shiloh saw nothing dangerous about this vampire, and was quickly getting bored. She debated on just walking away, and going to sleep, but Shiloh knew better then to turn her back on a creature like this. She gave a loud yawn, to let the thing know that she was bored and tired. She could do this all night if she wanted too, but that would mean that she broke into that comfy cottage for nothing. There was a bed in there calling her name, and she was really wanting it. She knew she shouldn’t have came out here, she should have just went to sleep. With her boredom, Shiloh flipped her knife in the air a few times, then said, ”You’re probably the most boring vampire in the history of vampires, aren’t you?” [/blockquote][/blockquote] ATTIRE

Evony heard it speak. It was talking, but she wasn't listening. She was only watching the knife flip through the air. She knew it would be very easy for her to go up and grab it, and flit back to where she was before the it could do anything about her. She also knew that the it was getting an ego, and she wanted it to stop.
"Very good. Smarter than you look, eh?" She said rhetorically, trying to get under its skin. This was getting quite fun, actually, trying to decide whether she should attack right now, or let it think it was bothering her. "But, there's something I know that you don't." She said it before she could even do anything. Now she knew what she was going to do. Let it cut her, Evony bleed on it, Evony wail. The usual that she does to the people that tried to bother her. The people that tried to make her hurt. She hurt them, and they knew that she meant business. "Do you want to hurt me, thingy?" She asked, giggling wildly as she spoke. She was having fun, yes she was.
"Yeah. Evony thinks you do." She wondered why this girl was being rude to her, why was she doing this to Evony? Evony only wanted to have fun, she only wanted to play. If she plays with Evony, she may get hurt, and Evony only wanted the games to continue. She only wanted to have fun, she was getting hungrier, she could tell. Her fangs were slightly protruding from her gums. "You might not want to mess with me. I'm getting hungry, ugly little hooman." Evony said. She was making jokes at it, pretending to be bothered. Pretending not to play. Pretending to be hurt by the thingies unrelenting avoidance to play. "Well, that's not polite!" She said, jokingly. She advanced on the thingy, only a few steps. They were dancing around each other pretty much, just staring at each other.
