Honest to God, Shiloh must have a death wish. She didn’t know why she was traveling back here, of all places, but she was. She knew that this place was dangerous, and that she really shouldn’t be here. Sure, she could take care of herself, but dang! This place was where all the bad people where, so to speak. Not the demons and stuff, but the bad people in the human world. Where the whores, and druggies where. This place had a lot of death in it too, she just felt that she would blend in better here, no one would question why there was a teenage girl here by herself. Plenty of teenage girls wandered these streets by themselves, but not for the same reasons Shiloh was wandering around. She was trying to find somewhere to stay tonight, and she wasn’t going to stay in the streets, that’s for damn sure. She was NOT doing that again, no matter what. She would break into an abandon house if she had too. She wasn’t staying outside. She’d either get raped, or kidnapped by some person. Not that she couldn’t put up a fight, she just would be caught by surprise, and yeah. It wouldn’t be good for the other person seeing as though she was a hunter, and yeah. She had some kick ass training in her days, and loved to put her knives to use. Shiloh moved quickly, never really stopping to see the people in the alleyways and stuff. She didn’t care for what was going on, or who was back there. She knew it would be dangerous to stop.
After an hour or so of searching, Shiloh found the crappy motel that she had been looking for. Hell, she probably could sneak into a hotel if she really wanted too, but she decided that this place needed some cleaning and could use the cash. Though she was sure the money would go towards whatever drugs these people were on. Shiloh walked into the office, and hit the service bell, and waited for someone to come and serve her. Ha, yeah right. After ten minutes of waiting, a sickly woman walked out with a cigarette in her mouth, and said, ”What can I help you with?” Shiloh had to keep herself from gagging when she saw that the woman’s teeth were black and rotting. ”Yeah, I need a room please,”
she said sliding her twenty dollars. The woman gave her a look, then shrugged. Like she didn’t see young girls in here all the time. The woman probably thought she was a whore or something, but Shiloh was far from it actually. She was still intact, and probably would never get it unattached. She grabbed the keys, and walked up to the room. Shiloh could hear loud music coming from the room next door, and knew that the night would be a long night. She wasn’t looking forward to it. Shiloh was afraid to turn the water on here, so she just made due with changing into more comfortable clothing, being shorts and a tank top. She decided that she would leave the messy red hair down for the night, and laid down on the bed just thinking, and slowly started to drift off. She had been smart, and placed a small knife under the pillow she had, just incase someone decided to surprise her. What seemed like hours later, Shiloh woke up from her cat nap. Though she had only slept for an hour, Shiloh felt refreshed, but she wasn’t ready to leave. She was hungry though, and grabbed two dollars, and walked out to the vending machine, putting a small knife in the small of her back, Shiloh walked out of the room. She finally found a machine, and should’ve figured that there wouldn’t be a lot of choices. She chose a bag of chips, and got a water from the soda machine. When she went to turn around, she ran into someone much taller then her. Shiloh glanced up to see a red headed boy in front of her. ”Sorry,” her voice faded when she saw exactly what she was looking at. A druid boy. Great. Stupid crappy apartments. Now he had to rent a hotel for a few days until the plumbing was fit.. oh well...better make the most of it. Atleast the place was cheap, granted it was full of whores and drunk and well.. drunk whores. But normal creatures could be here too, right?
He threw on his shirt and left his room, hands in his pockets walking down to the vending machine to get a little late night snack. It was then something collided with him. He looked down a blinked a few times... Well she didn't look like a drunk whore.. if she was.. she sure was a pretty one.
His normal goofy grin spread across his face "Oh, that's quite alright miss." He bent down too pick up the bag of chips she had dropped, handing them back too her. " it was my fault, I wasn't paying attention. I was just so captivated by your beauty. Ok... so he hadnt seen her at firdt.. but he was sure if he did he would have been! A sheepish look cross his face as he straightened back up, brown eyes looking down at her. She seemed... really out of place here, though he probably did too....He didn't look like a kind of guy who would by off a whore did he? At least.. he hoped he didn't.
It was then he had noticed he had wondered off into his own thoughts, and he snapped back into reality. " I'm Peter, by the by. He put out a hand. He of course didn't realize she was a hunter.. he had never had much experience with them, so how could he tell the difference. She was just a pretty girl... a very pretty girl.

Honestly, Shiloh was sure that she could’ve found somewhere better to stay then here. It was just creepy, but she knew that it was the cheapest place to go to. She felt cheap just being here, with all the whores and drunks around. She was afraid that they might drag her away somewhere, and rape her or something. Not to say she wouldn’t put up a fight, and needless to say, she’d probably win unless it was like ten to one or something like that. Then there was the slight chance that she would lose and be turned into a whore. That wasn’t something that she would take lightly, Shiloh would be damned before she was turned into a whore or a druggie. She didn’t like drugs and would never be caught with them at any time. She liked the lifestyle she had now, what was it they called it nowadays? Above the influence, there we go. Yes, Shiloh was above the influence of drugs, but alcohol, she might have one or two drinks, but nothing serious. She didn’t like “getting drunk on the job” as people say. She didn’t ever want her guard to be down, but let’s face it, she isn’t the greatest when it came to putting it up. Especially with guys, she had the most difficult time trying to figure them out, she usually ended up in a daze of confusion and was just blank.
In truth, Shiloh should’ve known that other creature were here, hence why she had the knife in the small of her back. It wasn’t that she didn’t like them, it was just that she was taught not to like them. A lot of them were pretty cool people, but instinct was always first in Shiloh’s mind, and she couldn’t help it. So, when some strange druid boy ends up in front of her, her first reaction would be to pull out her knife, and demand why he was here, and who he worked for. But, Shiloh resisted the urge to do so because well, not everyone liked hunters exactly. They had a really bad reputation, and her pulling out a knife would make her look really suspicious on accounts of being one, and she didn’t know who was here. She didn’t know if someone hated hunters, and she didn’t know if they were watching her and this boy. She’d rather not be stalked by something that wanted her kind dead. In truth, you could never really kill off hunters because they were humans, and humans were everywhere. Yeah, there weren’t as many hunters now, but they still were like ninjas and could kick some serious ass when they wanted too. It was pretty cool actually. Especially during her training classes when they got to fight one another. It was pretty kick butt, and Shiloh had finished top of her class, making her parents very proud people. Of course, if she wouldn’t have left, she could have been great, but hey, no one’s perfect.
Shiloh took the bag of chips from the boy, and said, ”Thanks.” Wow, she could tell that this kid had no idea what she was. It was probably a good thing too. She’d rather not have the whole place know that she was here, and that it’s possible that she was vulnerable when she slept because tonight, Shiloh was getting some sleep. She didn’t care if the world was ending, she was sleeping through the whole damn thing. Shiloh shifted uneasily when he said, ”It’s my fault, I wasn’t paying attention. I was just so captivated by your beauty.”
Was he trying to flirt with her? God, she didn’t know. She didn’t know anything when it came to guys. ”Erm, thanks I guess.” Shiloh glanced around, and wondered if people thought they were going to hook up or something. They were far from the truth on that one. Shiloh Vaughn would never “hook up” with a druid. Or any other creature for that matter. It was strictly human with her, or so she thought. Sometimes, just sometimes she was fooled by people. Shiloh glanced at him for a moment, then said, ”Shiloh.” She shook his hand with a firm grip, then realized that probably wasn’t a good idea. What normal girl showed that strength when she shook hands with a guy? Apparently Shiloh did, and so she quickly dropped his hand out of hers. She was sure that this boy had never harmed a fly in his life, but she wasn’t going to trust him. Nope, no trust for this Peter kid. ”So, Peter, what are you doing here?” Shiloh was trying to be casual, but she didn’t know how to be causal with a guy. All she knew was fight, fight, knives, and more fighting. [/blockquote][/blockquote] words • 798 tagged • Peter =] outfit • here lyrics • Good Riddance - Greenday credit • KBIRD of caution 2.0
