It was one of his usual days, heading out of Kamiya's sanctum for a bit so he could create some chaos around the city. It disgusted him to have to walk amongst the humans, but every now and then, it was something he had to do. And when it came to his appearance, he didn't exactly blend in. Saben had chosen to wear a black coat that went down to his ankles with a red lining on the inside. He also had on boots, and a black pair of pants. His appearance matched his personality though, dark and not even the slightest bit friendly. Well, Saben did have a nicer side, but he hardly ever showed it to anyone. Not to mention that it wasn't all that nice anyway. So as he made his way through the streets, he did as best he could to avoid the humans. Sure, he had wings and he could fly, but he honestly didn't feel like flying at the moment. Besides, it was fun to freak humans out at times.
Before long, he reached Broad Street, and something came to mind. He'd heard about an all vegetarian cafe around here, and while in the area, he figured he'd crash the party. As a cannibal, he loved his meat, and he loved terrorizing people as well. So what better way to do so then to raise Hell in a cafe that only served vegetarian dishes? The thought made him smirk, and as he came around a corner, he had the cafe in sight. Once he got there, he stopped for a moment and looked at the name in the window. Strong Hearts Cafe? It disgusted him, but humored him at the same time. In his mind, vegetarians were all a bunch of sissy no life, bleeding hearts. So with that thought on mind, he entered the cafe and took a seat at a table. Right away, he could smell the absence of meat, and it bothered him.
A few moments later, a waiter came up to the table, and asked politely for whatever Saben wanted. The demon looked up at him, a rather menacing smile creeping to the corner of his lips. "How about some meat? I'll take whatever you have." The waiter's expression never changed as he heard Saben's request. "We don't serve meat, sir. This is an all vegetarian cafe." The man said. Saben's smirk widened a bit, it was the exact answer he was expecting. "I believe you do." Now the waiter's expression had changed, and he quirked a brow. "No sir, it's all vegetarian." Saben gave a quick glance around the room before returning his gaze to the human in front of him. "There's meat all over this damned cafe. It may not be the kind you're thinking -" Right then, Saben stopped his sentence short when he sensed someone familiar. He turned his gaze towards the window, and caught sight of one of the last people he'd want to see right now. Issy, Remy's daughter. Great. Just as he was about to show his true colors, she had to show up. Way to ruin the fun.

Boredom nipped at Isabeau as she walked the streets of the city, merely wandering in search of something to do. Part of her dared her to wander back into the ruins; perhaps then she’d run into the hunter she left behind. As ever grating as his presence was, and despite how much of an asshole he made himself out to be, she couldn’t deny that her time with him had taken a rather fun turn and she’d be lying if she said she didn’t enjoy herself even a little bit. Which she did, more than she’d like to admit, but the part she enjoyed the most was sticking him with his own syringe full of sedative. Sedating the hunter, just as he had done to her, had been a miniscule form of payback; and that was the reason she decided against returning to the ruins and traveling aimlessly about. Surely sedating him would have struck some nerve, if not annoy him; the angel wished for both, but she didn’t exactly want to find out whether or not her attempt to foul his mood worked. Sticking to the city’s boundaries and closer to her father seemed like the better idea, anyway, as she didn’t exactly want to test her luck. One kidnapping attempt was enough, and she wasn’t quite sure if seducing Lev would work a second time around, or another hunter for that matter.
The city was less threatening, albeit somewhat boring despite all it had to offer, but staying under the hunter’s radar was far more important than entertaining herself with stupid pleasures. Unlike the many species that inhabited the city, she was able to hide herself a bit easier. No mark tainted the back of her neck, and without her wings she appeared as normal as normal can get; white wings retracted, Isabeau appeared no more supernatural than the various humans she passed by on the streets. With the amount of people walking the streets it truly wasn’t that difficult to blend in and mingle; it wasn’t as if the hunters could catch on to her scent and sniff her out, and then there was still the threat of her calling Remy. True, even if she did happen to stumble upon a hunter or be discovered, she wouldn’t call for her father, but the hunter’s couldn’t read her mind. Would they risk calling her bluff? Was it worth it for them? She hoped not, but she hoped even harder that she didn’t have to find out whether or not the hunters had balls of steel as to cause trouble with Remy yet again. Isabeau even toned down her appearance for the day, sticking to a worn pair of jeans and converse to go along with the green babydoll top she donned; and throwing the look together was her hair, which had been hastily scooped up into a ponytail and topped with a pair of sunglasses. At least for her it was toned down when compared to her typical attire.
Cars, aromas, signs, and people: they blended into one another as she walked aimlessly down Broad Street. Nothing seemed to attract her attention for more than a mere second, until she passed the window of a restaurant she knew well; but it was a face inside, one that she was even more familiar with, that caused her to stop in her tracks and look again. Her breath caught in her chest as all her senses came crashing down upon her; his disgusting scent was heavy and thick in the air. The angel’s skin prickled as she stared, wide-eyed, at Saben as he talked to a waiter. The scene was unsettling, and the demon did not belong inside the vegetarian and vegan haven. Something was up and she didn’t believe for a second that Saben merely wanted to test the cuisine. “What is he doing?” Her words came out as a sharp hiss and before she could think, Isabeau took a step back and stalked toward the doors to Strong Hearts. She pushed harshly through them and swept her blue gaze over the entirety of the restaurant before her eyes fell on the being she wished she had not seen nor sensed. Swallowing her disgust, she ignored the host entirely and set course for Saben.
“Saben. How nice to see you here!” Isabeau’s voice was light as she quickly made her way for Saben’s table and swept passed the waiter as she plopped herself down in a chair opposite Saben. She daintily crossed her legs and tucked a few, fallen strands of golden hair behind her right ear. The smile that played over Isabeau’s lips was anything but warm, the exact opposite of the tone in her voice and the words in which she spoke. It was more than clear that the greeting was forced and it was not nice to find Saben in the café. The demon had trouble written all over his voice, and from the look on the waiter’s face, she had come upon him just in time. She knew what Saben was all about, and causing chaos and wreaking havoc was as normal and natural as breathing. Finding him in an all Vegetarian and Vegan restaurant was, if anything, unsettling and something inside warned her that he wasn’t interested in what was on their menus. Irritation and distrust swirled in the depths of her blue eyes as she stared at Saben. “All these years and I never knew you were a vegetarian. It’s quite shocking.” The angel stole a quick glance at the waiter, for the first time outwardly acknowledging his presence. “Stop standing there. We’re obviously not ready to order.” Her voice was as cold as the look in her eye as she turned her head fully to the waiter, the smile she had presented to Saben vanishing in an instant. Her intention wasn’t to be rude, she wanted to make the waiter leave in hopes of saving him from Saben’s jaws, quite literally, but she didn’t necessarily care that she was rather rude.

A sigh escaped the young man's lips as he set the back pack up on the counter in the staff area. Almost immediately out popped the head of the a raconteur who let out a quite chatter. " Sshhhhh" Peter said, maybe a little too obvious. He quickly glanced around to make sure no one else was around, the last thing he needed was to lose yet another job because of some ruckus a silly raccoon caused... Though he wouldn't have lost that last job if a certain girl wasnt such a snitch and blabbed her mouth to manager it belonged to him.
He fished around in his pocket, a few candy wrappers falling out. he produced a lint covered cracker. He blew it off, before handing it to the raccoon. " Here Pick. Be a good boy and and take a nap or something/" Maybe it was stupid bringing him like this. It may be easier just to leave him at home, but the raccoon hated that and Peter just couldn't bring himself to leave the poor guy all alone. He patted his head once, and the raccoon retreated back into the depths of the back pack. Peter then did a 180, grabbing his apron, and quickly pulled it over his head and tying it around his waste. " All set for week 2 of the new job" He muttered. Really... he hated this place... He may be a druid, but that didn't automatically make him a vegetarian did it? In truth, his guilty pleasure was a bit of meat every now and then, even if it did bother him more than a little, but it was just too good. Anyways, yes he did eat meat, and a restaurant with out to him was pointless. But.. it paid the bills... and thus he wouldn't complain a whole lot.
He walked out into the dining area, fishing for his pen and tablet as he came upon his first customer for the day. Usually they were just you're average Joe vegetarian's, or regular people who wanted a bit of a change, or old guys with wives who had been nagging them to eat healthier because their cholesterol was too high... But no...there was something really odd about this guy. It wasn't just the all black clothes, and the red lined black trench coat. They got allot of people dressed like that after all. Gothic kids who wanted to try and save the planet and what not. But this guy was different..very different. There was something about him that made the hair on Peter's neck prickle. He shook it off though, and gave his normal smile ,though with a little less cheerfulness.
" Hi, My name is peter and I'll be you're waiter for today, sir. What would ya like? He went through the normal script with as much cheerfulness as he could muster, which was about 1/4 its usual.
" How about some meat? I'll take whatever you have."
Peter almost sighed. They got the people sometimes... newbies in town who didn't know what was served here. We don't serve meat, sir. This is an all vegetarian cafe.. he tried to keep his cheerfulness up though. " We got some mean veggie burgers though."
" I believe you do."
A frown graced the red head's face. Didn't the guy just hear him? Really how dumb or hard headed could people be? " Um no.. we don't sir."
"There's meat all over this damned cafe. It may not be the kind you're thinking -"
As the guy spoke, the feeling that something wasn't quite right became more and more pronounced. It was then some girl, burst in, calling out what was obviously the guys name. She sat down and began going on about how she didn't know he wasn't a vegetarian. She was very pretty, and put a it of a goofy looking smile right back on Peter's face. Were they boyfriend and girlfriend? Boy Peter hoped not. It was then she looked up at him, telling him rather rudely they weren't ready to order. He twitched slightly, but it honestly didn't bother him to much, he was used to snobby girls. Still turn on the charm, maybe she'd leave him a good tip.
" I'm sorry, miss. May at least get a lovely lady such as yourself something to drink? We got a good assortment of tea.. or if that doesn't suit you, there's water." He told her, momentarily forgetting the odd man. Another bad thing about this place. No soda...nor alcohol, not that he was quite old enough to legally drink yet. Though since when did that stop any body?

Saben's gaze followed the angel as she walked into the cafe. It was usually always Remy who came in to ruin his fun, but this time, it was his daughter. As she sat down at his table and greeted him with a forced smile, his gaze never left her. "I find it difficult to say the same about you." He said to her. He knew she had lied, but he had no need to do the same. Just seeing her had spoiled his mood, though it wouldn't be too hard to get back if he could get what he wanted. That want, was obviously meat. But meat in a vegan place? It wasn't as difficult as people though, or at least not for Saben.
When Isabeau spoke again, a malicious smile crossed his face, and answered her statement. "You could consider me one." Of course, that didn't mean anything close to what it sounded like. What Saben meant, was that he ate druids as well, and druids were connected with the Earth, including the plants. It was one of Saben's cruel, and sick little jokes, but he was always the one to have a dark sense of humor. He was the kind of guy you'd find laughing during the most inappropriate of situations. Did he care though? Nope, not even in the slightest. Other people's opinions didn't matter to him, and it made for him to be quite an ass.
Saben's smile then faded when he heard the waiter again, and he turned his head to look at him. "You really don't serve anything good here, do you?" He asked. "Looks like I might have to help myself to a bit of self service." And with that, Saben stood up before making his way to another table not too far away. There was a woman sitting there with a guy, and as soon as Saben approached, they stopped talking and looked up at him. "Excuse me, miss. But would you mind lending me a hand?"
Before she could say anything, Saben revealed a blade and jammed it through one of the woman's fingers, pinning it to the table. She screamed in both pain and shock, and he ripped her finger free before holding it up to examine it. All the while, the rest of the people in the cafe ran for the door, fearing that some psychotic maniac was about to kill everyone. He wasn't focused on them though, but this woman instead. And to keep her from going anywhere, he pulled the knife from the table, and jammed it back through her hand.
From there, he snapped his fingers for a bit of an effect, and lit the woman's severed finger on fire with a small flame. He liked his meat raw, but he was willing to try it a bit...cooked. After a moment or two, he then blew out the flame, and put the finger in his mouth. It actually tasted pretty good. "Not bad..." He said, the smirk returning to his face.
