It wasn't like Saben to wander out towards the forest, but he just had one of those gut feelings that he'd find something interesting. So he went on his way, searching for whatever it was that he got this feeling for. As he thought, he got the idea that he'd probably have the most luck out by the main road. Not too many people traveled on it, and no, it wasn't Route 21. This was one was active, leading into and out of the outskirts. Appearance wise, it looked like your typical two lane, peaceful type of road. Double yellow lines divided it, and trees stretched on for miles on both sides. At night, it grew dark as ever, with only the moonlight lighting the way. And this road, was where Saben's search lead to. After a few minutes of taking to the skies with his wings, he finally found what he was looking for. Or so he hoped. Just up ahead of him was a car that had pulled over, the blinkers turned on so others could see it.
From what Saben sensed, there was someone in the car, human too. Or rather, make that two. From his experience as a demon and a predator of sorts, Saben could make out that one of them was young, a child more likely. Oh, this was the perfect opportunity for him. His gut feeling had been right, and now he was going to take advantage of it. So after both feet touched the ground, some distance behind the car, Saben retracted his wings and glanced at the vehicle. He was coming up with a plan in his mind, and came across an idea rather quickly. Just for the hell of it, he thought a chase would be fun. So in order for that to happen, he had to get the person in the car to run. Either on foot, or in the car itself. If they chose to try and make a get away in the vehicle, they wouldn't be able to go too fast with all the curves in the road.
That being said, Saben went with a rather traditional and simple method. Moving where he could be seen, but still keeping a distance, he stood there. Watching the car like some kind of silent stalker. Without much light, they wouldn't be able to see him very well, though they'd still know that someone was standing there and watching. As Saben did so, he saw movement in the car. The driver was a woman, and kept looking up at him. That was when she started it up and began to leave. But as planned, Saben wasn't going to end it there. As the woman started to pull away, he followed, making sure that she could see him once again. That was until she sped up to the point where he couldn't just walk along side. At this moment, Saben spread his wings again and gave chase through the sky.
Seeing him, the woman drove at a much faster speed, pushing it until she just barely made it through the turns. Being able to fly at a faster speed, Saben was able to make it ahead of her and plant himself in the middle of the road. The car immediately put on its brakes and she tried to steer it around him. Yet the car spun out, screeching to a stop in the opposite lane. When she looked around, Saben was no where to be seen. He had used that moment of distraction, to take to the shadows of the trees. Within seconds though, he reappeared, making his way towards the car. When the woman turned her head and saw him, it was already too late. He was too close, and managed to break the window before taking her by the hair. She let out a cry of terror before Saben took her by the throat and forcefully pulled her out through the window.
Then he tossed her to the ground, before pinning her there and placing a hand over her mouth. "I had a feeling I'd find something interesting out here tonight." He said with a grin. And with that, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a knife. Then without warning, he jabbed the blade into the woman's side, purposely missing any vital organs. In response, she let out a scream, but it was muffled by Saben's hand. After pulling the blade out, he grinned at her. "Just as a taste." He then licked the blood from the knife, a look of ecstasy soon forming on his features. "Oh, that's delicious." He said to the woman. Saben then stabbed the blade into her again, this time doing it multiple times until her screams ceased and she stopped moving around. He wanted to finish her off quickly, so he could take his time with the child in the car, who was restrained in a child seat.
Just as he was about to take some more blood from the knife, he was distracted when he saw headlights come around the corner. It was a cop, and when he got to Saben, he immediately stopped and jumped out of the car, gun drawn. He ordered Saben to drop the knife and leave the woman be, but his orders only brought a smirk to Saben's face. "She's already dead anyway. You came too late." And with that, he turned back to her body. Yet the cop yelled at him to drop the knife again. Now he was getting on Saben's nerves. The demon had a very short temper in a situation like this, and his anger prompted him to spread his wings for a third time. "Or what?" He asked, the annoyance showing in his tone. Seeing the black wings though, was an obvious hint for the cop that Saben wasn't human.
After letting out a few curse words, he opened fire on the demon. Saben managed to duck to avoid a head shot, but another round pierced through his side and he cringed. However, the look on his face quickly turned to smirk as the pain turned to pleasure. Being a sadomasochist, he took pleasure in it all. "You asshole..." Saben said, the smirk still on his face. Then he turned to his abilities, using inferno to conjure a small fire in the cop's hand, and making him drop the gun. "This is the only chance you'll get." The demon said. "Fuck off." The cop didn't think twice, and quickly took off in the opposite direction. He hadn't noticed the child in the car, and he knew that the woman was dead. Not to mention that Saben was a demon. Hell, if he didn't know about all these "supernatural" creatures, which he likely didn't, he'd probably think he saw the devil himself. It wasn't everyday that you came across something with large black wings and the ability to conjure fire.
Once the cop was gone, Saben took a moment to stick a finger into the bullet wound at his side, and take a sample of blood. Licking the crimson liquid from his finger, he once again gave a smirk. He liked the taste of his own blood as well, but he had more important things at the moment. Glancing back at the car, he walked towards it to retrieve the child. Even from a distance, he could hear the boy as he started to scream and cry. After unlocking the door from the front, Saben opened the back door and undid the restraints on the child's seat. Then he picked the boy up and took him out of the car. He was only about two years old, but age made no difference to Saben. He'd kill whoever he pleased. So with his wings still out, Saben held the child up some. The first word to come out of the boy's mouth, was "mommy", which made Saben grin. "I'm not mommy. But I promise we'll take care of you." By "we", he meant himself and Ciara. He had plans of taking this child back to Kamiya's place, where both he and Ciara lived. And as one could guess, their ideas of "taking care" of someone, weren't good at all. -------------- Tag: Open! Word Count: 1366 Notes: - Lyrics: Judith - A Perfect Circle Template: Lycan

As Nyx walked around the dark town, there was a frown on her face. She couldn't believe that daddy was STILL giving her guards! She didn't need those willies, they knew nothing about protecting a princess like her. Nyx whipped her head around, her light brown eyes glaring at the three men following her. All she wanted was to go out by herself for once, and explore. That's all she was asking for, but no, she had to have overprotective parents. Nyx gave a frustrated sigh, and skipped along the narrow path. She heard her female guard, Tasha, calling for her to slow down. Nyx giggled to herself, and kept the same pace she had. She had no need to slow down, this was just fine with her.
As she skipped down toward the forest, Nyx started to hum the lullaby that her mother sings to her when she goes to sleep. She could faintly hear her guards calling out her name, they were losing her. Good, she thought to herself. Those guards were terrible, she'd have to talk to daddy about it when she got home. Nyx could see the odd looks she was being given by the grown ups around her. A child like her shouldn't be out alone, or so they thought. She was a big girl, she could take care of herself easily. Her brown hair was flowing freely behind her, but it was getting annoying. If only mommy was with her, she'd braid it for her. Oh well, she'd just have it done later.
Taking to the shadows, Nyx stopped when she heard a scream. Her body went rigid for a moment, but soon relaxed. She was use to people dying and screaming. She turned to face where the scream came from, and inclined her head curiously. Nyx decided it was time for her adventure of the night. She walked down towards the edge of the forest, not scared of it. She let her eyes adjust to the darkness, also welcoming it. It didn't take her long to find the source of the noise. Her light brown eyes landed on a dead woamn, and a man crawling away. She cocked her head to the side, and snickered. Her bright eyes looked up, and saw her uncle Saben. Nyx knew very well that he hated it when she called him that, so she called out sweetly to him, "Uncle Saben, what are you doing?
" Her voice was like little bells ringing through the alley. Her eyes glittered with excitement, though she wasn't quite sure why he was holding a baby. Nyx moved foward to inspect the bodies that lie around her. Hmm, too bad she hadn't been around to see it. Mommy or daddy haven't let her witness a kill, she didn't know why. Nyx had seen plenty of dead bodies before though. [/blockquote][/blockquote] tags:

Saben still held the small child in his grasp, smirking as the two year old continued to cry. With his wings out, he planned to take flight with the kid and take him back home to Ciara. Oh the fun they would have. Maybe they could play a few "games" before cooking the child up for dinner. Kids loved games, right? So why not? Although he obviously wouldn't dish out as much as an adult would, Saben was still plenty pleased enough with just torturing him and enjoying some time with Ciara. Just as Saben was about to take his flight though, he heard the voice of a small girl. This one was very well known to him, and the moment he heard it, the smirk dropped from his face. A look of disgust and sheer annoyance quickly replaced it as he turned around to face the girl. "You're a child. You have no need to know about my business." He then paused for a moment before addressing another issue. "And I've told you not to call me uncle Saben. I'm not your fucking uncle."
Oh, Saben hated her, and it showed. He didn't care about cursing around her. Every time that Nyx was around, Saben wanted to be somewhere else. She was essentially a thorn in his side. The demon would've loved nothing more than to just kill the girl and watch her life slip away. The one thing holding him back though, was Kamiya. Saben was extremely loyal to him, and wouldn't even think about doing anything that could anger him. It was because of this, that he couldn't even harm her in the slightest. He knew that if he pulled a single hair from her head with the intention to hurt her, Kamiya would find out. And again, Saben never disobeyed the demon god. However, things were getting to the point where Saben's anger was close to boiling over. True, it was likely that he'd never seriously injure the girl, but a few cuts and bruises were possible in the event that it did boil over.
"Now leave me the hell alone." He continued to say. "I believe your guards are looking for you anyway." The way that he said the word "guards" was an obvious insult. He was teasing Nyx about the fact that she needed them, no matter where she seemed to go away from the mansion. Yet despite Saben's clear anger and annoyance, he knew the girl probably wouldn't leave. And saying that he hated her, was an understatement. Just having Raven around had annoyed him to the core. And Nyx, only escalated his hatred and disdain by countless numbers. So much so, that he just felt like jumping in front of a speeding freight train whenever she was around. For the most part though, Ciara was there to calm him down. If he didn't try to leave the mansion all together, he tried to stick with her as much as possible.
Now, why exactly did he hate Raven and Nyx? For one, he hated kids. The rest, was a bit complicated. It wasn't exactly jealousy, but Saben was used to it only being him, Ciara, and Kamiya around the mansion. More or less, Kamiya gave him a lot of attention, since he was basically like the "pet" he was described to be. If he wasn't with Ciara, he'd be with Kamiya. Creating chaos, having their pointless (but not negative) arguments, planning out someone's demise, etc. Then in came Raven. Replaced wasn't really the right word to describe how Saben felt about it, but it was something pretty close to it. Again, it wasn't jealously, just simply anger. He loved things the way they used to be, and he wished that it could all go back to being like that. To make things worse for him, Nyx came into the world. As for Saben's anger, it wasn't at all directed at Kamiya, but at Raven. He blamed her for everything, and desperately wished he could kill her as well. That was all wishing though, and he doubted it would ever become reality. -------------- Tag: Open! Most adults would look at Des, and think that she was just some cute little girl; oh how wrong they are. She may act sweet, and innocent, but there is no innocence when you have a demon god as a father. Her golden eyes narrowed at the man in front of her. She didn't understand WHY he hated her so much, but in truth, she knew very well that he did. Her little innocent mask dropped from her small face, and glared at him. A sneer formed on the small child's lips as she looked at Saben. Her eyes flitted around the scene, and clicked her tounge as she looked at the mess. "This is quite the mess you've made, and letting a man get away too. You've become sloppy, Uncle Saben.
" The sweetness in her voice dropped, she was just trying to annoy him. She was much like her mother, which annoyed a lot of people for some reason. Des knew that many people hated her mother, apparently she wasn't liked because of her status with daddy. The best thing was is that mommy doesn't care, and so Des felt inclind not to care either. Des let her eyes rest on the baby that Saben held in his hands. Curious that he would keep such a thing, she was positive that he hated kids. Maybe it was just her that he hated. Her eyes flicked over to Saben for a moment, then she said, " Language, Uncle Saben, there are children around. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth? Oh wait, you don't have one do you?" Desdemona giggled, it was high pitched like bells. Most demons, or anyone really, got nervous around this man, but not Des. Suprisingly, he didn't scare her the way he did most people. She wasn't sure why, maybe because she KNEW he couldn't do anything to her, not without her daddy hurting him. She smiled at the thought. Her temper flared at the word guards. It probably wasn't a good idea to piss her off, but then again she was only seven, almost eight. Her fists balled up at her sides, and crumpled her dress. Her mother would be upset at the wrinkles that had gotten into the brand new dress. Des would just blame Saben, not that he would ever know. " Not like it really matters, the fact that they lost me means they're dead. Plus, you're here aren't you Uncle Saben? As she said this, her guards came into view, huffing and puffing as they tried to catch their breath. She whipped around to look at them, her light brown eyes glaring at them. " Nyx, you need to stay in sight of us, your father --" Des cut her off, and said, " My father is going to kill you because I'll make sure of it when you escort me home tonight, but as you can see, I'm with Saben. I believe I'm in good hands for now. Tasha's eye got extremely wide, and she began to ramble off apologies, and asking for another chance, blah blah blah. Nyx held up her hand to silence Tasha and her two friends. She walked up to them slowly, and looked up at them with a cruel smile on her face. She told them to lower themselves to her height so she could talk to their faces, as they lowered themselves, Des could see the tears streaming down Tasha's face. " Don't cry, Tasha. I like you, I really do, but just remember: I'll be in the room when my father kills you slowly, and I'll enjoy every scream you make. The last thing you'll hear is my laughter as you beg for your life." Des patted Tasha's shoulder, and looked back over to Saben. Her eyes landed on his, and she spoke with venom, " Too bad daddy won't kill you, it's not like he has much use for you anymore. All you do is take up space. My mommy is his new play toy. Her eyes glittered as she spoke the words. It was fun making Saben mad. [/blockquote][/blockquote] tags:

The tension in the air was growing thick. He could sense it. And it was mainly his own tension as the child's presence stirred up his anger. Whenever she was around in Kamiya's sanctum, Saben made sure to take a walk somewhere. Whether it be around the city, or out with Ciara somewhere, he just wanted to be away from her. And her words about his work being slopped, just proved the entire point. "Sloppy?!" He said angrily. It wasn't so much the word itself that bothered him, but a different fact that he was about to address. "Who are you to judge me?! I've never been neat about the stuff that I do, but I sure as hell know what I'm doing." It was true. Saben never cared for leaving things nice and tidy. He always made a mess and left blood and guts everywhere. Sloppy in those terms maybe, though not when it came to planning.
And as far as the guy he let go, he just wanted to eat and torture the woman, not deal with some newbie cop. So if letting him go was that much of an issue, he'd just find him again and kill him later. No big deal in his opinion. What WAS a big deal though, was that Nyx wasn't leaving, further enhancing Saben's anger. Yet despite that anger, he chuckled at her next statement. "No, I don't have a mother. It doesn't bother me at all either." He explained. "I'd rather it be this way, than having a bitch conceive me like you were by your mother." Now he was taking personal shots, but he wasn't the one who struck first. Sure, he didn't care about not having a mother, although some people likely would've said that it was uncalled for. Not that he really cared about that either. Again, it was the simple fact that she had judged him earlier. He already hated it when people did that, and it made it worse when it was a child...particularly Nyx.
And just as he heard what she had to say next, he saw the guards come into view, quite the way behind too. Saben knew Kamiya would kill them for it, but at the moment, they were getting on his nerves as well. The presence of anyone really, was enough to deepen his anger right now. The demon was clearly in a foul mood, with each second getting worse. All he wanted to do, was come here, create his own chaos, then bring this child home to Ciara so they could eat. When Nyx came, it spoiled all of that. In Saben's mind though, she had a tendency to spoil his fun. In fact, he'd much rather be around his arch enemy, Remy, then with Nyx. At least the angel god didn't consistently poke and prod at him with annoyances like a child. And the thought of Kamiya having her around for the rest of his life, made Saben think of just going to Remy and asking him to kill him. He couldn't even imagine being around Nyx for that long, so why not end it as well as all of his other troubles? Hell, not having Saben around would probably be more weight taken off of Remy's shoulder's anyway. So it was either that, or he could take the less drastic way and move in with Ciara. Which was the more likely option.
The thought of moving in with her always stayed in his mind, especially now since Nyx and the guards were around. And as he heard her speak to the guards, another thought came to mind. Oh how he'd love to rob her of the chance to see those guards be tortured. He knew she loved it, but any opportunity he had to take her fun away, was something he couldn't pass up. However, he'd have to wait a few more moments before he could do that as Nyx threw out another insult to him. Locking onto her eyes as well, he replied with just as much venom. "And it's too bad I can't kill you. If I could, I would've done it a long time ago, way before you became the little runt that you are now. In fact, I can kill you, quite easily too. The only thing holding me back is Kamiya, and the fact I have the slightest amount of control. Once that slips, you're as good as dead."
Saben did have control over himself, but that was a very thin line. Nyx was definitely pushing it, and if she kept it up, she could very well see him snap. All of that, resulted from that uncivilized and animal like being that he was when he was younger. His anger would lead back to that behavior, even he tried to prevent it. It was practically his inner "beast" so to speak, and seeing it was never a good thing. It meant he had lost all control, including his sense of better judgment. So if that side of him were to emerge, he could likely kill Nyx, despite the out lash he'd get from Kamiya. For that reason, he was trying his best to keep it in check as the little rat stood by him. And as far as the guards went, they'd no longer be an issue to him as he shifted his gaze towards them. "As for you fools, do me a favor and fuck off."
They stood there for a moment before Tasha spoke on their behalf. "We can't, Saben. We're not supposed to -" She was then cut off yet again, by Saben this time. "I hope that was a misunderstanding on your part, because I said fuck off. And I'd listen if I were you." She stood there again before repeating what she had said. "We...can't, Saben." Taking in a breath, Saben was trying to keep his anger in check again. "Fine. I'll just relieve you of the torture from Kamiya then." And without second thought, he reached into his coat, revealing a gun he always kept with him. Seconds later, he fired off three rounds, and the guards were on the ground, just as quickly as he had fired. It wasn't like him to use guns, but he always had one around for back up, and this was some of his anger that he was acting on.
From there, he put the gun back in his coat, the child still in his arm as well. It started crying though after hearing the gun shots, and as one could've guessed, Saben wasn't about to listen to it. He was pissed enough already, and a crying child wouldn't help. So he grabbed the child's head before twisting it around and snapping the neck. There was an instant silence, and he simply dropped the body to the ground before looking back at Nyx. "That could very well be you one of these days. Snapping your neck and shutting you up, just as you bitch about things. It seems like a lot of fun." -------------- Tag: Open! Word Count: 1221 Notes: He's so brutal.
